Budget-minded families and travelers make a run for America's leading taco chain..
A pink and blue color scheme, white tile floors and hacienda-like arched windows combine for a subtle Southwestern motif at this fast-food chain. Founded in Southern California in 1962 by Glen Bell (who invented the pre-fab hard taco shell), this casual order-at-the-counter Mexican restaurant features classics like tacos, nachos, quesadillas and burritos. In recent years, menu offerings have expanded to include specialty items like gorditas, chalupas and cinnamon twists.
William is a very rude employee. The prices listed are different from what is charged on listed menu. William was the person ringing up purchases when I was in Taco Bell today. He was extremely rude to an older gentleman when the man complained that he was charged a higher rate than was listed on the menu posted. William said that what he rang up is correct and not was it listed. The gentleman left very upset and did not purchase anything. When it was my turn, I did not have a problem with William, but when I looked at my receipt, I noticed I was overcharged ten cents on each gordita supreme I purchased. After what I witnessed with the gentleman ahead of me, I did not say anything, because William made it clear to everyone within earshot with his rude attitude to the previous customer, that what he rings up is the correct price. I will no longer got to that Taco Bell. There are plently of really good places to eat near my workplace, that I do not need to go to a place that charges different prices than listed or rude employees like William.
