Awesome LIVE blues on Saturday nights.
And a fanastic Tri Tip barbecue for $10.
I don't think you can beat the Dell for great atmosphere and live music.
Very low key bar with lots of space, great bartenders, interesting customers for people watching and fantastic live music every Saturday night.
The beer is not cheap..
I have a very hard time getting comfortable in any bar that charges $6.75 for a pint of beer. I really don't feel like tipping the bartender when I get these kind of surprises.
Parking on the streets was kinda scary. Someone driving their big ugly SUV the road at 70+ MPH almost took my door off when I got out out of the car...
Grand Dell saloon. Just found this great bar tucked away in Cambell a while ago. Free hot Dogs and Sausages (provided by Tony the Irish owner) with salads for Monday night football games. Great music and unbelievable BBQ on Saturday nights. Ten dollars for BBQ (all you can eat) tri-tip,chicken, salads and many other extras. A rip off? Oh no far from it an excellent deal with a chance to see great music in a small club like atmosphere. I sat in the section the locals called the dark side and never laughed so hard in my life! L Patterson go to Santana Row and take your cheap tips with you, this place was an absolute ball and I highly recommend it!
Rip Off. Would be an ok hangout if they didn't charge $5.00 for one Coors Light. What are we in Vegas?!! Let's face it, you charge Santana Row pricing for a location in the middle of no where and you're a dive bar! You'd get more people in there if you didn't charge so much. Not to mention I'd tip your staff better if I didn't have to spend $10 on two beers!
Great Little Secret!. The Grand Dell Saloon is a great, friendly & well-run establishment. The food is fabulous, and where else can you hear great live blues, jazz and classic rock Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Everyone is super friendly, and it's a place where the locals will buy you a drink when they discover it is your first visit. It is worth finding and visiting.
Great in many ways!. The Grand Dell is the best dive bar I've ever been to. The Irish owner, Tony, makes the most delicious traditional meals as well as great BBQ dishes. They have very professional and talented bands come and play (mostly classic rock and blues) for all the holidays and weekends. The bartenders are friendly and there is a pool table, darts and shuffle ball table in the back. The crowd there seems to know each other but were welcoming to a new comer like me. This is definitely a place you should try.
Great Little Hideaway. The Grand Dell is a great little hideaway. The serve very inexpensive lunches and boy does the food taste great. They will have all the major sports on 9 or 10 TVs Pool, Darts Suffleboard, Fireplace Just a great place to Meet friends after work. BBQs for Monday night football. Specail events from time to time too
Great Stop for Lunch or Hide Away!. Great place for Lunch excellent food at a great place
