Love this Place!!!. I have been going here for 15+ years. It is great.

It has a funky vibe that is creative and relaxing at the same time.

Caryl has been my stylist. She always tells it like it is-if a style or color would be flattering to my face etc. I have never been disappointed with her. Everyone is very friendly including the front desk, especially Patrick. Parking is the pits but there is a lot a block away.

loves it.... I keep reading that Iris left and yes iris has left the salon but I'm not to sad about it don't wanna bash her but... no real loss there. La bamba is doesn't have the atmosphere of Faux so I wont be going there, With all the other extremely talented stylists working there I find no reason to leave faux. I have been going there for 2 years and not once had a cut I was not in love with. I also don't want to over gush either but some of the reviews are way harsh. Ryan and Pat the receptionists are great and very accommodating. As far as stylists go, go to Amy she is AWESOME!!! Although Mary Lou, Angie, and Liz are also effing fantastic! I've loved every hair cut colour syle i have gotten and style i have received there! Go there get good hair!

only people I'll let touch my hair again!. being someone that has only gone to super cuts his whole life this place was a huge change! Amy gave me one of the best hair cuts ever! the price is drastically different from super cuts but hey... you get what you pay for!

FANTASTIC salon. Mikel is an artist. I have been going to FAUX Salon for many years and I've never been disappointed.

-The owner Mike is a consummate professional. He has a great artistic eye and will tell me what would look best based on the shape of my face, lifestyle, etc. He's never been wrong!

-The salon is immaculate and I always see people cleaning while I'm there.

-The front desk service is great. Everyone is friendly and when I've had to cancel or rebook they always did their best to accommodate me. I also appreciated a call when appointments were running a bit late one day.

-I know parking is sometimes a hassle on Campbell Ave. but there's plenty of parking on side streets and the parking garage which is about a block and a half walk away.

-FAUX carries top of the line new products that I read about in magazines like Vogue. It's nice to read about a new shampoo that doesn't have sulfates (for example) and then actually find it in the salon.

Keep up the good work FAUX!!!

best service in town. I have been going to this salon for over 5 years now and coco is great! I recomend coco but all the stylist's are fantastic! very friendly staff, make me feel at home

Cari was the bomb!!. I recently went to Faux Salon from a referral from a friend. I decided to cut off all my hair to donate to locks of Love. I was really nervous but the stylist Cari really listened to me and gave me advice on what kind of cut I needed. Next thing I know were doing color too. I loved the whole experience the cut and color came out better than I would have imagined. Prices were really reasonanle, and trust me I've paid a lot more for bad services.

Gina is AWESOME!!!. Gina is AWESOME I went to Faux salon after my hair stylist of 7 years moved to AZ. I was pretty scared at first to try someone new, but I read reviews on Gina and I thought what the heck I will give her a try. Dont believe the negative stuff you read about her. She is a tell it like it is kind of person (my type of gal) if she thinks something won't look good she will tell you, so if you can't handle the truth don't get Gina, but if you want someone who will do EXACTLY what you ask for, get Gina she is the best!!!! I adore my haircut and color.

Faux Rocks!. First of all for someone who bounced a check on the last review.She has no reason to say where anyone should spend there money since clearly she can't keep track on her own money.I have known Mikel as a stylist and business owner for over 10 years and obviously he is doing something right to be one of the top salons in the bay area. so to this person i say " Put your money where your mouth is!"

Rude service...sub-par haircuts. Very rude service...1 in 10 chances you'll get a good haircut. If you do go, definitely don't see Mikel. He is a rude, egotistical character who cannot cut hair!! You're money is probably better spent elsewhere...

Going to Faux since 1993. I've been going to Faux for cut and color for over ten years. And I've never been disappointed. Great flair. Great fun.
