Nice people there at TJO and they will save you money. They are patient and ask questions. My first year there I got over $1,000 more than the prior year going to H&R Block. The fees are similar to H&R Block (actually a little cheaper) but they offer much better service, nicer offices, better staff, and most importantly, they know how to claim the right deductions to get you the most money back.
Pros: They made it rain...with my refund that is. Thanks again!
Cons: none...as long as they keep getting me refunds =)

I have been working with TJO & Associates for a few years now. Their prices are a bit high, but well worth it. The guys are very up-to-date with the most recent tax deductions and qualifications. They have always helped me get just a little more back! I recently referred one of my friends to TJO & Associates. Unfortunately, she was not able to book an appointment. She had the option of mailing in or dropping off her stuff to be worked on & done within a couple of days or to file for extension. When I called the firm to ask about this, they were very clear that they did not want to have to turn away any clients - but, they leave the last few days available for exsiting & old clients (like me - who wait until the last minute to call in!) I was very impressed & flattered! They don't want to have turn down clients who've been working with them for years. It might be too late to book appointments for now; however, my friend was able to get an extension and is seeing them next month. Lucky for me, they took me in. It might be a little disappointing to hear that you can't book an appointment - but if its possible - file for extensions & wait to see one of the most professional tax guys in the bay area.
Pros: They're near lots of resturants & the mall, they have a large parking lot
Cons: A little hard to find - the street address is not clear on the bulding
