Great health concious food.
The Fiesta Tamale pie was a big surprise! Plenty to actually scoop with your colorful tortilla chips! Well seasoned and very tasty. Hoboes tea just can't be beat, hot or cold it is always refreshing. Only thing that could improve is rearranging tables. I often feel as if I am sitting in my "neighbor's pocket"

Inexpensive, home-style cooking with West Coast flavor..
In Short
Breakfast lovers favor this family-style franchise for its hearty, all-day menu of pancakes, omelets and scrambles. Hash browns are gussied up with California ingredients such as chicken-apple sausage or salsa fresca. Savory options such as gooey huevos rancheros are served with large hunks of blueberry coffee cake. More classic fare includes burgers, sandwiches, quesadillas, pasta, and a list of hearty chicken and salmon entrees.

Works for me....
Stopped in for dinner last night in a pinch and it was pretty tasty. They have a surprisingly wide selection of vegetarian and/or health concious items on the menu, including tofu scramble, black bean chili over brown rice, whole wheat tortilla wraps and more. I went for the Cal Hash, which are hash brown (sort of.. more like chunk) potatos with chicken apple sausage (always a fave), mushrooms, peppers and "tomato basil sauce". The only disappointment was that the sauce was just spagetti sauce, but I was able to remedy it with ketchup and such. Boyfriend had the BDBIT (Best Darn Breakfast It Town) and it looked very straightforward. Eggs, potatoes, blueberry coffee cake. The coffee cake was delish, as was the berry smoothie we ordered. All in all, not bad. I'd go here over your average diner any day.
