My friends and family have made Miyake Restaurant in Cupertino one of our favorite sushi hangouts. The sushi is always fresh and inexpensive. The adults enjoy having a sakebomb or two.

Pros: Inexpensive, fresh sushi

Cons: no reservations, can be crowded, not for the romantic

Blah, too.

Try getting the bill before your food arrives. This is what happened to me last time I was there for lunch. The food is just plain, and their success has gotten to their heads thus they think that they can just blow you off. Word of advice: customer is always right.
