must agree. Decided to try the restaraunt according the the above review. The food was excellent and not your typical greasy affair that I am used to in frisco. And yes, typically most places I have been to have been loud, greasy, not the most clean looking, and non-chinese friendly establishments.

I went to Silver Wing with a friend and his cousin who was almost literally "fresh off the boat". He had stated that the food was in fact authentic and "gourmet". Even thought i cannot tell the difference it deffinitly was a dilectable affair.

The food was GREAT!!! try the Honey Walnut Prawns...you will NOT be disappointed.

Parking was scarce but not impossible. It was a definitly a nice place where traditional chinese families, non-chinese families, as well as many HP executives/employees dine together. Plain and simple...good food appeals to all.

You Won't Be Disappointed. This place is awesome! It's hard to find a Chinese restaurant like Silver Wing that combines great and authentic Chinese cuisine with a classy atmosphere. It's worth the try. If you are an experienced Chinese food eater, you will definitely be impressed by the quality of the food served here. However, if you don't know much about Chinese food, and are mostly scared off by dirty/crowded/loud Chinese restaurants out there, you should give this place a try because Silver Wing is not a typical Chinese restaurant that you normally associate with.

best chinese in bay area. a better affair then those grease holes in chinatown in SF that cater towards tourists from the midwest who don't know real chinese food. The food and service were top notch...a place where traditional chinese families as well as HP executives dine together. I am not chinese but have dined there with people who are literally fresh off the boat from taiwan and they had stated the food was great. No offensive or foul odors detected like my places in chinatown. Try the honey walnut prawns...the BOMB!!!!
