Great Place for us travelers. This bar is VERY friendly to out-of-towners and when I have to spend a weekend at the corporate office in Cupertino I always invest and evening or two here. Last year an associate of mine and I stopped by during the Ladies soccer championships and we blended in with the regulars and really enjoyed the hospitality. Great place to go!!!!
Place to be in C-town.. Paul and Eddies is the best place in cupertino to get together with your friends at night to hang out. The bartenders are incredibly friendly and know your drink and name after a few times in. Not only are the bartenders friendly but the crowd that goes there as well. They offer a great tap selection from IPA to Blue Moon, 2 pool tables, 7 tv's inside and 1 out in the patio, and darts. If you have never been, you should give it a chance despite what their outer appearance looks like.
Solid local dive bar. This place has a solid local following. Bartenders know all the regulars and their favorite drinks, and even as a newcomer you feel welcomed. A lot of the "locals" are a bit sketchy, but if you go in with friends and aren't intimidated by random people harmlessly chatting you up and trying to buy you drinks, it's a good time.
The funky old building is a Cupertino landmark. Of course, most patrons don't see much of the outside..
The Scene
People who have been coming here way too long mix with people who are just discovering the place. Unlike some dive bars, Paul & Eddie's is friendly to newcomers. Still, the regulars are treated with extra care. The bartenders definitely know the regulars' names and what they are drinking. It's the type of place where a guy with a big lizard on his shoulder can feel right at home.
To Drink
This place carries a much better beer selection than most dive bars. The hard stuff is all accounted for and shots of bourbon go down well here.
Other Stuff
There are four TVs tuned to different channels. Two big pool tables and a jukebox that ranges from Elvis to Phish. There's also lot's of dead stuff mounted on the walls.
