Oooops NOT GOOD! – Yeah thats awful so don't go there no more. Now I go to Longhouse and enjoy the bar staff and overall impressed so now I'm a regular and LOVE IT!!!!!
Clueless wait staff – Myself and 3 friends decided to try this place for lunch on July 1st. We waited almost 20 minutes just for someone to bring us menus and that was after we had to ask for them. Our waitress was very young and did not really know too much about the drink types and menu items. Keep in mind there were about a dozen tables and two servers working them. We ordered our drinks but she only brought two out and after about 15 minutes I had to walk up to the bar and ask for the other two. The servers excuse was that they were really busy, yet she was clearing tables and talking with co-workers near the kitchen entrance. You would think she could have at least brought all the drinks and then continued on with clearing tables. Afterall there were no people even waited to be seated.
Eventually I believe it was the manager on duty who finally got the ball rolling on our food being brought out after almost an hour wait. Overall I would have sent that one server packing as she was so clueless on how to serve customers. The food for the most part was pretty good but the aweful service will make me not want to go back there.
yawn – Being an Irishman I was happy to see an irish pub slash restaurant open in GIlroy... I tried the place with a frined of mine, we went in at 1 pm and the waitress didn;t want to serve us lunch... this was back when they 1st opened. the owner made us lunch... yearning for some good old Irish bagers & Mash.. we got a kilbasa and garilc instant potatoes..... The owner was walking around trying to look like he was mad at something. the second visit was a few weeks ago giving it my ususal second chance... and it turned into a sports bar and the food hasn't changed.
Now if ya want to go in and get so loaded on booze that you can't taste the food then your in for a treat.. but if you want good traditional Irish food then marry an irish woman and have her make it at home for you!!
