I love gelato!. Great to have a meal out in Los Gatos, then stroll over to Dolce Spazio for a gelato! The service is friendly and the choices are good. The outdoor patio seating is nice on a summer night with a cup of gelato!

A great find. Despite not being really big on ice cream, I absolutely love their gelato. The almond amaretto flavor is my absolute favorite-very unique. Oh, and the uno size is plenty because it's really quite rich.

Get your cones and sundaes, Italian style.. The Scene
In the current location since just after the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake, the shop has the lived-in feel of any beloved scoop shop: Stacks of free papers, enough napkins, free little cups of water, clueless high schoolers behind the counter and lots of sticky surfaces. Carol and Joe Hargett started their little shop all the way back in 1982 when most folks didn't know gelato from risotto, back when Baskin Robbins was still the only benchmark of quality. We've come a long way, baby.

The Food
These days 60 flavors are offered with a wholesale manufacturing site located in Campbell. Every cup of melty goodness gets a crisp wafer cookie on top. Fruit sorbets are refreshing and intense (go lemon), but the sultry chocolate-hazelnut gelato steals the show. Regulars swear by the vanilla gelato swimming in a shot of espresso.

delicious!. dolze spazio is the best gelato place around here. absolutely love it. has a nice place to sit outside too. though sometimes i think i could do with a little bit more space.
