I had the war wonton soup, chowmein, and green beans. I'm typically used to a lot of sauce with the green beans, but this one had a light sauce which made me feel a little healthier. lol. Everything was good. I would go there again. Only negative was it was slightly hard to find.
Huge Portions, Tastes great. I'm a first-timer to this Chinese Restaurant. Food was hot, not too salty. Catered to my needs very well since I'm a vegetarian. After telling them I was a vegetarian, I was impressed they went over my order and asked if I wanted eggs in my Fried Rice. I would definitely come here again.
Jasmine chinese cuisuine. Bad, bad food. Not fresh. Tasted old. Very expensive for the poor quality. Too much celery, bell pepper in all the dishes. Disappointing Los Gatos has a bad chinese restaurant.
Great Food. Went their during lunch, waitress kind of slow to offer service. but the food is delicious and grear lunch price. Plus lunch comes with soup and salad which is quite great for the price. recommand to others.
Addictingly good. It's kinda like pringles. Once you pop, you just can't stop. I went to Jasmine because I was dining alone. I wanted a quiet, non-rushed setting to read my newspaper. Since that one time, it's become my weekly ritual. I think I've personally had almost every item on the menu by now. I like the chowmein. Nice big portion. Not too salty. Rich flavor, and a ton of vegetables in there.
Visitors from Ohio.
I brought some friends visiting from Ohio to Jasmine since they said there was no Chinese food near them. My friends were visiting for 1 week, and we ended up going to Jasmine 3 times. They fell in love with the Eggplant in Peking Sauce. They've never had anything like it. They asked for the recipe, but the waitress was unable to provide the details. hahaha. As a first timer, I asked them for a review. Here's what they said:
Service: 9 of 10. It would be 10 if they gave the recipe! The quality was great consistent. of the 3 times we went, the food tasted just as good. That's why we wanted to go back again. Do they deliver food to Ohio?
Citysearch does it again.
I visited Jasmine per doing a search on Citysearch. Rated high, Got some good recommendations on what to order... DONE.
It was a bit difficult to find since it's in this big building, but the food was definitely worth it. I got there at the prime of dinner time. It was busy, but I was still seated and served without any problems. I must say the wait staff were mezmerizing. They flowed like ONE unit. Right when my order was done, someone else came with my drinks. Right when someone took my food to packup in a doggie bag, someone else gave me a check and cleared my plates. The double team action was very impressive seeing as though it was two waiters (no bus boys). They sold me as a new customer and soon to be a returning one.
Thanks. -Natasha
Best Experience EVER!. I had a birthday party (10 people) at Jasmine, and I'll be the first to admit, we were not ideal customers. Everytime a waitress came to the table, we would ask for something, making them run back and forth. The thing that got me was that they kept coming back with a smile. Foodwise, Been there forever.
10.0 on the richter scale. I'd like to talk about my take-out experience. Parking anywhere in Los Gatos isn't all that grand, so I double parked my car. I walked in to order rather than calling it in which I should have done in hindsight, but Eric (waiter), offered bring my food to me after it was done after he found out I was double parked. Thanks! Oh, and as a rave about the food, it was still piping hot when I got home.
Newspaper Recomendation. First time I came here was after the Los Gatos Weekly Times had an article about it. I decided to try it out. The owner's family waited on me, so no doubt the service was great. I received excellent recommendations on what to order. But almost every table had a chinese chicken salad, so I ordered one of those.
