Great Aveda color and styling.
Lisa is a virtuoso of coloring. I work with a bunch of 20 somethings and it's important that my hair looks good and natural. It's a rare stylist who can "get" my hair -- it's curly, dense, but the hair itself is thin and very prone to damage and "bad hair days". A cut and color from Lisa and my hair is gorgeous with minimal work on my part.
Such a great, friendly atmosphere in the salon. Very homey, not shiny and cold. You're treated like family. Wonderful.
Never had a better experience..
My thanks goes to Tom Ward for his help relieving my shoulder and back pain. He is a wonderful MyoFascial Release and Quantum Touch Facilitator. Also My thanks go out to the best Stylists I have ever had the luck of sitting in front of, Lisa & Amanda.

Don't bother!. Don't bother w/this salon! I had an appointment at 5:30 on a Friday evening and didn't leave until 10:15pm. When I left, my hair surprisingly looked exactly like it did when I walked in! I wanted to change my color from dark brown/black to red. (Aveda color 5RR to be exact). Both Amanda and Lisa (the owner) consulted me and instructed me on what was best for my hair, yada, yada, yada.... and then the bleaching process started. She then put the color on my hair and left it on too long? I assume? Or she mixed the incorrect color? Anyways, once she rinsed my color and started blo-drying, I was biting my lip in hopes that once it was dry, the red would be obvious. Sorry, but it wasn't any redder. My hair actually looked darker brown/black then when I first walked in. Amanda told me that "hopefully" after a few washings, the color would lighten up. If not - she would correct the color free of charge. She sent me away with a bottle of Aveda custom blended conditioner in a bright red color - and told me to use it daily. I'm sure she was hoping it wold deposit some red to my hair and she wouldn't have to re-color my hair. Anyways, I called to schedule my appt. to fix my color and Amanda was great - in the beginning. Unfortunately, I was having a hard time finding another 5 HOUR window for this hair appointment and eventually, Amanda and Lisa, both failed to return my calls. Therefore, I had to go somewhere else to have my "botched" hair color corrected. Obviously, this is not a cheap process. Needless to say - I won't be going back to this shady little salon. I'm a little surprised that it is considered an Aveda salon to be honest. It's a hole in the wall, and looks like a dingy barber shop. Amanda even confessed to me that she wasn't actually licensed or trained by Aveda. With that said, she probrably shouldn't be working at an Aveda salon. Usually - that knowledge and training is usually what you're going after!
The Pure Path Salon. I must say that I have never been treated so wonderfully than at this little quaint beauty salon as I experienced in The Pure Path Hair Salon. Amanda was the greatest in coloring and styling hair that I have ever had the pleasure of giving my hair over to. Her wonderful conversations and talk about family back in her small home town in Tennessee is just simply THRILLING!! I am so excited about my hair it looks GREAT! The highlights look absolutely natural. Please come and visit this little piece of heaven right here in Los Gatos. Tell Amanda, Autumn said HI!
Great hole in the wall Aveda salon.
This tiny hole in the wall in Los Gatos is a great place for beauty care and a good time. Amanda is the cutest, and she does wonders with my hair. Lisa is also amazing with hair, and she does the best facials. There is also a massage table in the back.
I enjoy coming here and laughing and chatting with Amanda, such a sweet young lady (and funny!) while she carefully works her magic. I leave there with gorgeous hair!
