Dissapointing =(. This was my favorite breakfast spot in the Bay Area until my visit there last Sunday 4/22. We sat down and were handed new menus that read "Los Gatos Cafe", come to find out they had just changed ownership on Tuesday. Nothing that was on the Iron Skillet's menu was on the new "Los Gatos Cafe" menu except their famous Cinnamon roll. The menu was horrible along with the new food and the service. I was incredibly disappointed and you will be to if you go there.

Great Breakfast. Great breakfast place. They make their own baked goods so their toast (french and otherwise) is terrific and their cinnamon rolls are amazing - they're huge! Really good corned beef hash. Haven't had a bad breakfast here. The service is generally very good and friendly but it can be spotty. Great place for kids. Parking is fine but they do get busy on the weekends.

Tasty!. The food here rocks! I highly recommend dining here. The tuna melt was fabulous. The french fries are decadent. Great service as well.

Great Family Restaurant. This is a wonderful place to bring the family. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice, the food is creative, well portioned and fresh. Staff are friendly and efficient.

This is certainly a place to enjoy and relax.

Good Family Place. My family enjoy dining at the Iron Skillet for breakfast on Saturday mornings. The key is to arrive early as the establishment is very popular for Los Gatos families. The cinnamon roll is incredible but should be split and not for one diner.

Recently went for dinner and the meatloaf was super.

Iron Skillet Cafe. Iron Skillet is a great family resturant. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. We especially like the fact that you can get breakfast for dinner or anytime of the day that you fancy. They have a great kids menu with lots of variety. For the adults, try the chicken pot pie (you'll be bringing some home for leftovers), the meatloaf with polenta (there's a secret ingredient in the polenta - it's the best!), or the BLT on their homemade bread.

My 2nd Kitchen. With the change in ownership, we have decided to go back and give the Iron Skillet another chance. Great food, Great people is right. The menu has been updated to American comfort food--meatloaf, pork chops, chicken pot pies. All very good. The breakfasts--their signature meal--have gotten even better. The Skillet is a great gathering place for families on Friday nights during the school year.

Great Food, Value and People. We take our family for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. The Food is great for everyone, and there is a healthy portion of good food for everyone. The Iron Skillet is a place that was previously lost to me by the intrusion of restaurants the likes of Denny's and Fast food. The food at other places is never close to the quality or value of the iron skillet. The friendly neighborhood atmosphere, cannot be matched. I had almost forgotten about great moments like, sitting in a family atmosphere and enjoying a good quality family meal. Sitting at the Iron Skillet and discussing my children's day, while other families sit around us and do the same, is nothing short of a step back into a better time. If you desire a great family atmosphere where regulars come three or four days a week, then the Iron Skillet is the place.
