Dr. Barsten has made a huge difference in our lives! My son, my husband, and I have all benefitted greatly from his wisdom and his wealth of knowledge about health. We see him principly as a Naturopath and a Nutritional Consultant, though he has also rendered chiropractic services for us as well. He is the most knowledgeable health professional we have ever had the pleasure of entrusting with our medical care. His wholistic approach to medical evaluation and care has saved us from several unnecessary surgeries as well as vastly improved our quality of life. My son who has health issues along the celiac spectrum attributes his improved health to Dr. Barsten. By the way, the people who staff the office are extremely helpful and conscientious; I am sorry to see that one former employee so greatly impacted one of the other reviewers here, so as to give such a negative rating, without ever giving Dr. Barsten a chance. Many of our family friends are grateful we referred them to Dr. Barsten.

Dr. Barsten has been a huge help to me, and it's unfortunate that the other reviewer never actually met or talked to him. Dr. Barsten takes a calm thorough and balanced approach to treating patients. After six years of chronic insomnia and depression which may have been a side effect of the insomnia meds from my regular doctor, Dr Barsten had me off all medications within 6 months, and I now sleep perfectly every night unless I overdo sugar or a storm wakes me up! Yes, I had to change my diet, but it was well worth it. The supplements that helped balance my sleep cycle only needed to be taken for a few months. Dr Barsten works with your budget suggesting which supplements are key and which are less important if cost is an issue. I would highly recommend seeking him out. And please don't squander an opportunity to meet him just because the receptionist had a bad day. He truly helped me and others in my family as well!

rude. One of the rudest offices that I have ever dealt with. The attendent answered the phone with an attiturde and was not encouraging or inviting in the least. If this office has hired staff that has difficluty being cordial, I would hate to see what the doctors are like. I have no idea how they received a 8.4 rating without any reviews. Health Quest must have paid CitySearch for the rating.
