Roadhouse. I've been dining here for about 8 years. Great food, great drinks, great people. The music is usually great, sometimes a little loud. Definitely rustic. Always been treated with respect by the employees, and thats hard to find in this town (Los Gatos) Real food real fun
Mediocre food in a bad location. Unless you are a cowboy, better avoid this place. The steaks and chicken are tasteless.
Here Kitty Kitty Kitty.... The old saloon you pass on the way to Santa Cruz escapes most people as they speed over the hill, but the food is certainly worth slowing down a bit and making that quick exit off 17. I tend to grub on the Snob Thick Top Sirloin, the baked potato is to die for, but hold the mushrooms. I just wish they had beans. The garlic bread comes right off the oak wood fire and is loaded with butter and garlic, nice flavor from the wood as well.
Best steaks/Chicken. CATS has the best steak and chicken. Mesquite BBQ grilled. Order the saute mushrooms to complete the meal.
Love the Cats!. I love the Cats Restaurant! Simple, Fun and Friendly. Great BBQ (woodfire) Steak. I have eaten here for years and it is still one of my favorite restaurants in the LG area.
