Milpitas >Clothing Rental > Tuxedo Wearhouse
I do not think that they cleaned the Tux from the last user.
The morning of my friend's wedding my husband was putting on his Tux and noticed that it smelled bad. I agreed, it smelled like it had not been washed from the previous user.
He was in such a hurry trying it on he had not noticed during the fitting.
I would have taken it back but it was too late. We had to douse it in cologne to cover up the smell.
fast service, best prices. I was recommended here by a family friend who said their prices were $40 cheaper than Men's Wearhouse. My husband and father actually got their tuxedos for free because we had a few other guys in the party who needed tuxedos too. I found the service to be pretty good plus they made a tuxedo ready for my brother who came from another state the day before the wedding.
Worst Customer Service.
Once the contract is filled out and the deposit/ credit payments are made, the customer service goes downhill.
We went in to order 6 tuxedos for our wedding and asked that no one in our bridal party should be charged for fittings or tuxedo pick-ups. We asked to pay for them all. They did not listen to us and tried to charge each of our bridal party members a fee (luckily we had told our friends in advance that they did not have to pay for anything).
We went a week before the wedding to be re-fitted because my husband had lost a good amount of weight. The manger in charge was completely rude and simply replied with "I can't do anything about it until two days before the wedding." I asked him to explain what he would do two days before the wedding that he could not do a week in advance. In a completely rude and condescending tone he went into detail.
I believe I wasn't asking much and he had not right to talk to me in that tone.
This place hires young kids who do not care for their job and take everything in stride. After the wedding, we went in to return the tuxedos. Someone in our bridal party left their shoes so we decided to return them. We asked the kid at the counter to sign off that we had returned an extra set of shoes so that when the tuxedo was returned, no one would be charge. He refused to do it and walked away. I do not recommend going here for any type of tuxedo service.
