The South County hotspot for margaritas and Mexican food..
The Food
The hardcore may choose the menudo (the spicy hominy-and-tripe soup that separates the men from the boys), but the rest of us work on a hefty combination platter, often anchored by an enchilada and topped off with a taco and a shredded pork tamale. Look for the things called "Sinaloa Suggestions." These include the tamale dinner, chile rellenos and the enchilada special; all hover around $8 for a whole heap of food. Families appreciate the kids' menu, on which everything is $2. To drink? Here's what you say: "Frozen. Lime. Salt. Thank you." Repeat as necessary. On the rocks or slushy, the Sinaloa margaritas are potent and tangy with lime juice.
The Scene
One of the few hotspots in South County, his place is jammed on Friday and Saturday nights. Be prepared to wait 2 hours or more for a table.

Sinaloa Cafe can be fun....
The place is a great gathering place if your have the right attitude. The waits can be long, so get a drink and relax. Food is just so-so, BUT you can make or break the party.
