phantom trades???. firetip at first is auwsome,,,but after puting me in a phantom trade,then i put a real trade to counter the position,,,now i trading blind trying to close positions, wondering what the Hell!!!????Then i logged on one evening, to find a open trade losing 2500$+ ???!!!??? i called their trade desk, they said i was not in a trade...? that i logged out in a wrong way and to refresh my system and everything would show normal...? i did..then it showed me flat w/o the losing position...? now i understand that i did not "hit a KEY STROKE" FOR A TRADE.....! THE SYSTEM PUT ME IN A TRADE ON THEIR SYSTEM...NOT the Market...?? i'm wondering if anybody else have had simular exp with Firetip??? email HollywoodR1@gmailcom

You Get What You Pay For, People. Here's the thing. I trade commodities. All I really want in a brokerage is cheap commissions and a nice online interface with which to trade. Farr Financial offers me that.

And that is about all it offers.

If you want sound investment advice, then by all means don't go to a discount brokerage. Do you really think they are going to be able to hire the brightest minds at the lowest commissions? (For what I do, at least, the commissions are very competitive.)

As has been mentioned, they are almost always available by phone (I've never had to wait on hold to connect to somebody), particularly during trading hours. Pretty much every guy that answers the phone sounds young, inexperienced, and in a hurry. I've had some pretty stupid conversations with them--conversations that never would have happened at a more professional, upscale brokerage.

Sometimes they've made mistakes, but they do seem committed to fixing them. I'm not talking about mistakes in speculation. As I mentioned, I didn't join a discount brokerage for the financial advice.

I joined Farr Financial for cheap commissions and a nice do-it-yourself online interface. As far as that goes, I really can't complain much--they deliver as far as that is concerned.

It's a pretty bush-league operation, though. I will admit.

Horrible advice, uneducated commission seeking morons. I can't be myself in this review as I would have nothing but 4 letter words to say about them. Please do your due diligance and in the process I hope you read this. $10K in 2 months gone. I was not smart, I should have pulled the plug after 7 straight losers. But I didn't and now I am paying the price. They ruined my openess to trade. I will not mention traders names but their best intention is to make commissions. The only good thing is I am young and don't have to worry about losing retirement money. I would never recommend using Farr as an advisor. Please look for a more reputable broker.

Worst advising in history. Well lets see, they look at a chart and decide one way. Their outlook is well it can only go 1 of 2 ways.....and the one that is chosen is wrong. They do not do accurate technical analysis, they hire chimps with no education on investing, they have ads refering to positions as telemarketers. I wish I knew this before they lost my money. I traded about 30 times and only had 4 come out positive. 3 of those 4 were my own decision. What a joke this company is. Don't listen to them, don't get on there email list and don't let them convince you they perform well. Ask for some potential picks and see how many go belly up. The ones in there email are the winners not the trades you do without the bunch. They rarely disclose the losers in their emails making them look like 80% winners. F you Farr and your team.

Waste of money. Do not do business with this company. The recommendations I received were horrible....when your account becomes low they don't call cause you have no leverage to trade and pay the rediculous commissions. I lost my shirt by listening to them say oh give it a chance then the next day thay trade was worthless. I am not an exppert and that is why I wanted assistance. When I day traded I had certain charts and devices I would look at to provide buy signs or sell signs. They were recommending the opposite advice when I had those signs and I listened to them....lost! When you enter long hold positions, they offset a loss by recommending to purchase a long hold in a indicy or currency that moves in the opposite direction showing their strategy is to make lots of trades. Do your business with someone else, I didn't do my due diligence and paid for it. Enjoy my commissions guys!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS W FARR FINACIAL. FARR financial is an absolute joke. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with these people. It is a bunch of uneducated, unprofessional kids who have no clue about anything. They take no responsibility for there actions/errors. You are better off paying higher commisions elswhere to deal with professionals. Do NOT be drawn in by there low commission rates. They will cost you much more with there lack of exicution and unprofessional attitude. I work in this industry, and they are the worst people I have ever came in contact with.There platform goes down repeatedly and they take no responsibility. I have lost thousands of dollars because of there poor platform and unprofessional actions. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH FARR FIANACIAL
