Editorial Review for Westfield Shoppingtown-Valley Fair – by Margaret Young and Michele McCole Moss
In Short
Valley Fair and Stanford Shopping Center in Palo Alto tend to attract the same set of chain stores and clientele. Though, Valley Fair has become more trendy with its mid-range and upscale clothes stores and popular houseware chains like Restoration Hardware and Pottery Barn Kids. Teens and adults find this mall the perfect shopping haven. Macy's stores flank the mall with Nordstrom somewhere in between.

Insider Tips
Know Before You GoThe Food Court is nothing special. You can nibble on Mrs. Field's cookies or sit down at the California Cafe or the Crocodile Cafe.
ParkingStill a pain on weekends, though two new parking structures have eased things somewhat. The easiest parking spots from which to maneuver are in the back of the mall.

This mall is very clean and has a variety of shops and restaurants. I go to this mall instead of Oakridge.
