New Management Sours Experience. As of the Summer of 2007, Salon 2001 is under new management. The new owner requires you to sign in when you arrive, even if you already have an appointment. Something about learning everybody's name, but she's never even talked to me in the four times I have been in the shop.

Hannah and Alice have since left, but Alice is just down the street at Miracles: A Salon. 341 Lafayette #102, Santa Clara, across from Washington Open School. Phone is 408.244.7023.

Its the Stylist, not the Salon that makes the cut. And as such, I am sticking with Alice and will not go back to Salon 2001.
