Awesome Coffee Shop. I really enjoy Barefoot Coffee. The Barista know their stuff, and really care about the product they put out. The drinks are just great. You can order anything from a sweet caramel latte (like found at the major chain places), to a serious coffeegeek machiatto and everything will taste wonderful It is a great place to hang out. Also great place to pick up some roasted coffee for making espresso at home, or for just making a great cup of coffee at home. I bring my daughter in with me and everyone there is always so nice. No matter how busy they are, they always make you feel special. They also give back a lot to the community via various programs such as the housing consortium and the San Jose Ballet.

cuppo of heaven. what can I say, to me, barefoot is like a home. Where else in the bay can you go and get a handcrafted mouth-watering capp or shot served to you by intelligent, artistic, sincere, drop dead sexy, what's the word i'm looking for, oh yeah... ROCKSTAR baristas, who love their jobs and love making the best drinks possible for each customer. Really it's a steal how much attention they put into each drink for the price you pay (tip well they deserve it)... barefoot is truly a culinary experience. Come in and see for yourself, i'll probably be there sipping my cappuccino chillin out on their comfy couches listening to some live music and hanging out.

Highest quality espresso and coffee drinks. I never realized that espresso didn't have to be bitter until I had espresso from Barefoot. It was naturally sweet, creamy, and rich. I had to ask if sugar was added -- it wasn't. This is the way espresso is supposed to be! They are passionate about coffee -- it's all fresh roasted and you can buy beans for home as well. And they care so much about freshness, that if the beans were roasted more than 2 weeks ago, they sell at a discount -- no stale month-old beans here!

They also often have more than one type of bean or blend available for espresso. And offer free coffee tasting sessions once a month.

Your drink is usually beautiful as well as delicious, don't be suprised if the barista has poured the milk so artfully, that it appears as a flower; most drinks are adorned with 'latte art'.

best tasting espresso, and artful at that. bcr is great coffee. their espresso drinks are yummy and artful, not like the fast food coffee you get at any of the big chains. the fresh roasted beans you can get to take home really make a difference in a great pot of coffee. i've never had a bad barefoot experience. and to top it all off, these folks are socially minded, both locally and globally. go barefoot today!

Superb Organic and Fair Trade Coffee Roasters. Barefoot roasts their own coffee fresh almost every day. They are almost all organic and fair trade and we love that. They definitely serve the best coffee in town IMHO. There is a reason Barefoot is so famous all over the country. If you are a fan of perfect espresso drinks and cappuccinos then you have to try them out. They are just great. Don't let the shopping center location fool you, Barefoot is a mouth wateringly delicious experience. And you have to try their super whole leaf loose teas and their new empenadas which are just bangin' good. Their Baristas are absolutley amazing and so passionate. And they serve all espresso drinks with latte art which is so uber cool!

Excellent Hot Beveridges. Everything is good at Barefoot. Espresso - drip - amazing hot chocolate drinks - wide variety of teas - fresh nibbles. They are also wonderfully supportive of local artisans, hosting a variety of artists & events in the coffee shop. Belly Dancers, Comedy, Acoustic Music, Community Meetings, Photography, Paintings - there's always something interesting happening at Barefoot!!!

Just wonderful!. Barefoot is just awesome! As a frequent coffee drinker, I know what I like and the places to avoid. Barefoot has quickly become one of my regular stops. I have lived all across the country and can tell you every coffee shop in a couple of cities- sad but true! For years, I have believed that no shop could ever take the place of a little hole in the wall called Baby's Coffee in Key West, FL. Barefoot is giving Baby's a run for its money...
