Service with Attitude. So, growing up I used to love the food at Chatanoga. The only bad thing I remember are the Waitresses that always looked pissed off. They are definitely not taught Customer is always right.

Shocking when we walked in and only saw 6 tables of people. This place used to be packed on Saturday nights. I should have seen this as a get the heck out of here. Doom doom doommmmmm.

The waiter asked us what we would like to drink. We asked what do you have? He said with full confidence EVERYTHING...... Wow! Even Mojitos?? Yes, of course. So we all ordered mojitos. Our waiter came back with our drinks...hahaha...Some joke. The drinks had 3 little pieces of ice on the bottom, looked greenish with 3 pieces of mint floating on the top. We all looked at each other and thought hmmmm. We take a sip of the warm mojito which had noooo alcohol in it. We waited for him to come back so that we could explain that it wasn't done right and was too warm. Our dear sweet waiter stormed off and got us ice in some dirty glasses.. We don't like to bother people and really tried to go with the flow, but rudeness on top of that it just wasn't right. So we told him that it was missing something, well he stormed off again and brought us a bottle that said mojito mix...Okay, but where's the alcohol??? Can we get something else.. He yelled YES, but I'm not taking these off the bill...He was soooo rude!!!! We decided we waited forever and didn't appreciate the terrible service so cancel our food order...No!!! You have to pay for it. It's been sitting in the kitchen for 3 minutes. Wellllllll, it's not on our table so we'd like to leave... He stormed off and had the owner rush out with our food. We felt really stuck and one of the regulars told her to do whatever we wanted. She had a smirk on her face and said what is the problem?? We decided on wine since they don't have to mix anything and screw up the order. The rice was disguisting and on top of that they automatically charged us gratuity... We never got an apology just attitude.

Try Some Other Middle Eastern Food. Saturday night is very busy due to the live band and belly dancer. If that is what you want from the restaurant just order a drink . The Hummus had a bitter after taste and the kebabs were dry. The hostess that took our order was rude and to top it all off she took our order incorrectly and would not make the adjustments in the bill. We paid a bomb for bad food and service.

Highly Recommended. Very delicious filet mignon and beef kabobs. With specialty rice that can be substituted... I would diffidently would recommend trying Zereshk and Albaloo polo with beef or chicken kabobs. Which is very delicious that makes me carve for it right now.. And if you like taking risk trying new delicious food; try their Kaleh Pawcheh :). Their Kaleh Pawcheh is the best in the BAY AREA....Also don't forget they have full bar, and live music on Friday and Saturday nights. You would also want to dress up to impress since there is a lot of beautiful classy ladies and gentlemen. Plus there is no cover charge for Friday and Saturday nights.

Pay fo the Music. Well, a Saturday night in Chatonoga will follow with a reservation. Then the arrival. The people are very courteous and served us well, but I felt the menu was limited to only a few dishes. The Hummas was really very tasty, but that was all. The entrees were dry and you had to just gulp down the meat with plain rice and the kobabs were tasteless. I have tasted much better ones before, and for the price, I would definitely not recommend this restaurant. There is a band playing Arabic tunes, which is the icing of the restaurant and also the dance floor where everyone is performing Arabic moves and its fun. But the ambience is not romantic and they charge 15% gratuity on minimum purchase of $15/person and with the price, its obvious that its charged
