Extravaganza Catering is the best caterer I have ever worked with. I have used them for seven events at this point and can't imaging working with anyone else. They are perfectionists which I appreciate and everyone raves about the rood at every event. I have used Extravaganza Catering for parties of 16 and parties of 350 and the food is always consistent, beautifully displayed and plentiful. Pat Smith goes out of her way to be generous and to ensure that the job is done when promissed, as promissed - in fact she generally over delivers!

They reply quickly and work with you to a point, but they're image conscious to the extreme. If they don't like what you like, expect them to vanish. The good: My rep worked with me quite a bit on menu and pricing. The owner wisely encouraged me to change my food choices. The bad: They pushed too much food for the number of people. They changed the service prices with no explanation. No communication for over two weeks a month before the event, then pulled out when we didn't agree that my wallet was more important to me than her reputation and on how much food was necessary. No per-item pricing. It made it very hard to negotiate their pricing structure. Even their rep agreed that it was hard to work with and that this was the only place she'd ever seen like that. They prefer to simply charge for "food and service" with no details after you pick a menu.
