"The best massage" they've ever had.. Left my girlfriend and her friend here for a 90 minute massage. They didn't come out 'til 2 hrs later with the 2nd biggest smile on their face (the 1st biggest smile is when they find cute shoes).

"The best massage" they've ever had.

Overall, can't really complain with the Groupon voucher and they said they'd come back even without a discount.

Finally! A real Thai massage place run by real Thai people.. My husband and I used the $59 for 90 minute Groupons we received from a friend as

a gift. We are both world travelers, and have experienced great Thai massages in

other parts of the world, but not at home. Finally! A real Thai massage place run by

real Thai people. I circled that I wanted strong pressure and I got every bit of what I asked for. Not

once in the 90 minutes did Tony decrease the pressure or try to conserve his energy

for later. It was a well-balanced vigorous and relaxing massage that left me wanting

to drink a gallon of water. :) My husband and I tipped our massage therapists $20 each. The Groupon was so

cheap and the massages were amazing. That's our little blessing on this new place.

We hope they prosper. Their Thai accents can take a little patience to understand, but they are warm caring

people excited about starting their new massage business.

For my 100th, I wanted to share something.. For my 100th, I wanted to share something that has helped my physical well-being tremendously.

I used to have chronic shoulder and lower back pains due to bad posture and sitting in front of a computer 10+ hours a day. I've tried different treatments, ranging from seeing a chiropractic to acupuncturist and even picking up yoga. While these treatments work temporarily, the pain in my shoulders and back return in a week or two, sometimes even in a few days.

I had accepted the fact that pain was just something I had to live with. Since my first visit years ago, I try to come here once every 1-2 months as it provides instant pain relief and longer pain-free intervals between treatments.

Every time I visit, I fill out my information on a clipboard. On the clipboard is a picture of a human figure (front and back) where I circle my problem areas. This lets the masseuse know which areas to focus on as once the treatment starts one of two things usually happen. I either fall asleep or the pain is so intense I can't think straight let alone speak.

Every time I need a treatment, I schedule an appointment with Tony as he is a master in his own right. His style is acupressure and kneading with light stretching. He takes a multi-step approach where he gently massages your problem area until the muscles there relax. Then the next step and highlight (or most painful) is when he digs in over and over till the knots/crunches disappear. For the final step he massages over the problem area smoothly and firmly, sort of feels like he's aligning the muscles fibers.

If you do come visit, please come with the expectation that it will be painful. For me, the pain ranges from 5-9 on a scale of 10. The most painful is when he works the area under my shoulder blades, usually I break a sweat and grit my teeth. He also stretches me into yoga poses I never thought I could do.

But once it's all done I literally feel like a new person. I stand taller, my spine is straighter, and my posture is perfect. My shoulders and back are also pain free for a good 3-4 weeks, which is something I cannot put a price on. They also provide complimentary lemongrass tea and water for post-therapy hydration needs.

If you suffer from chronic shoulder and back pains like I do, the chances are you have spent hundreds or even thousands on therapy. That's why I believe this is worth a try if you suffer from any type of pain.

My first time trying Thai massage. Yesterday was my first time trying Thai massage, and I have to say I really like this place. Unlike other "asian" massage places, this place is REALLY clean, and relaxing. The massage is different, it's like doing yoga. Instead of doing yoga yourself, they do it for you. I tried their 90-min Thai Herbal massage, the herbs smells really nice. This is not a spa, they don't have hot tub, steam room, or shower room, but their massage oil is really good. It didn't leave you sticky feeling. Right now, they are having the grand opening special, also discount if you are check-in on yelp. It's good to give them a try during the special, it's worth it.

Really uncomfortable seating arrangement for pedicures. I love pedicures and get them every month from the best of spas in vegas to the (walk-ins welcomed, corner-of-the-street) places I often dare to set foot into. I recently got a milk-n-lavender pedicure with a sea salt exfoliation as well as the paraffix treatment at Harmonie. The results were only as good as some of the (much) cheaper salon-cum-nails places I've been to. But throughout my treatment, I was so uncomfortable with the type of sofas they use for pedicure clients. They have 3-4 pedicure stations and a long sofa thats probably only a foot deep that you cannot even fit yourself into (and I am supposed to be petite!). The sofa has a straight back and so you cannot relax! They give you cushions to ajust your inclines and if you do use them, there's no more place for you to sit! In short, the treatment and service was okay, nothing extraordinary. And the infrastucture sucked. I certainly did not feel pampered/relaxed.

Great straight-forward, no hassle services. I received a gift certificate for a spa day at Harmonie, including a massage, pedicure and manicure. Before going to Harmonie, I was a regular customer at Preston Wynne (also in Saratoga) and Burke Williams in Santana Row. I had the best massage and manicure/pedicure at Harmonie than anywhere else. Their prices are very reasonable, and much less than what Preston Wynne and Burke Williams charge for the same services.

To simply sum up the difference between Harmonie and these other two spas:

The quality of the services is excellent at Harmonie, and in my opinion, better than the other spas. They provide their services in a very straight forward manner. The masseuse gave me a wonderful, true "deep tissue" massage that worked out all my knots and tight muscles. The spa pedicure is the best I've found anywhere. The young woman who did my nails was extremely friendly and very meticulous about doing a great job with my nails. They are very clean, and use only brand new supplies (nail filer, buffer, foot scrub, etc.) on you. She gave them to me to keep and use at home, along with a bag of other samples and goodies.

At the other spas, what you're paying for are the fancy furniture and decor. Harmonie is good for those in a hurry who just want to go in, get their service, then leave without caring too much about the appearance of the place. The decor is very plain with white walls throughout. The exception is the area where the spa pedicures take place--it's very comfortable and pretty. It is an older building and could use some improvements and renovations to look nicer.

At Preston Wynne, you go in, receive your service, then there really is no place to lounge or shower, so you pretty much have to leave right after your service. It's very small, clean and well kept. What I dislike most about PW is that the person who provided you with the spa service meets you downstairs and pushes you to purchase products as you are trying to pay for your service. They get really pushy to the point where you feel like you have to buy something. After a relaxing spa service, the last thing you want to do is feel tense and pressured to spend more money. I used to go to PW all the time since I bought 10 series of massages and facials, and will probably not return.

Burke Williams is ideal if you want to take your time and enjoy the sauna or steam room before receiving your service, then enjoy the lounge areas and very nice showers/dressing rooms. You are allowed to spend as much time as you would like there without feeling rushed. I went with a small group of women for a bridal shower, and it was a great place for groups, since it has areas where you can socialize. It is very spacious, clean, glamorous, relaxing and beautiful. However, expect to pay a hefty bill for any service that you receive, since you are allowed to take your time using their facilities. The services themselves are not really any better than the ones provided at the other two spas.

If you are someone who is looking for a spa with excellent services and like to just go in and out without spending much time, go to Harmonie. If you like lounging before or after your spa service and like to take your time enjoying the spa amenities, I recommend Burke Williams.
