The SceneFolks stop here before going to a club or after seeing a movie, and it's a popular place for students on a budget. The decor rides a heavy surf theme, with boards, beach shots and other memorabilia on the walls. Convenience is a strong selling point; the place is open late and located near heavily trafficked places such as Camera 3, San Jose State University, and First Street clubs and bars. The fact that the prices are fairly low doesn't hurt either. The FoodWithout a doubt, this is the number one spot for pizza-by-the-slice lovers in San Jose. In fact, many might be surprised to…
Fun Environment and Good Staff-->AWESOME FOR DELIVERY
by redheadmonkey
Good pizza and fun environments are hard to find, but this place has both. The workers always seem very nice and work well with the kids. This place is very good for delivery. The best drivers are the ones who have been there for a while (the guy with the big blue truck, guy on the bike, and the tall girl....i always ask to see who is driving because these 3 drivers are good at getting me my pizza without any problems).
The bread sticks at Pizza My Heart are AMAZING!!!
The $5 shirt and free slice is genius!
I miss the big, tall main manager that was there every weekend. Now it is some young guy who never cares as much as the other shift leaders.
Overall, the staff keeps me happy by providing good pizza, salads, and beer. They are a "fast-food" type place, but they keep it fun and personal.
- Pros: Ordering whole pizza only takes 10-15minutes, Delivery is good! Hand-tossed Pizzas!!!
- Cons: New main manager, Pepperoni is a little greasy
Yummy pizza

If you live downtown, I recommend getting delivery from Pizza My Heart. Their menu is good, choose from roughly 10 veggie pizzas or 10 meat pizzas. The crust is the perfect size, and very crispy. I recommend 'The Lane' with its pesto, sausage and tomato, it somehows manages to not be nearly as oily as its cousin the 'Pesto pizza'. The 'Clam and Garlic' is also good. Eating at Pizza My Heart is another story. They pop whatever slice you want into the oven, but its still not as good as a made to order pizza. The pesto is extremely oily. They have salads, beer, and free refills on soda. And a surprisingly good selection of bottled hot sauces (including habenero!) to accompany your pizza. Overall, the pizza is truly great when fresh, but if its been sitting a while, you might want to reconsider unless you're in a hurry.
- Pros: Great when fresh, Delivers
- Cons: Pesto Pizza too oily
Remember Pizza a Go Go?
by gooberliberation
...I think the name change heralded the decline in quality. My pizza had so much oil that it soaked through not one, but two paper plates and still left an impressive puddle on the table. I know pizza aint exactly lean cuisine but that's just yoo much! Even after the oil dripped off all the way, the pizza was but a shadow of what I used to expect from this place. One bad pizza is excusable as a fluke, but Pizza My Heart has been consistently bad.
Want a good latenight pizza? I don't know where to go either.
- Pros: None
- Cons: The food.
