JoJo! What a find!. I recently heard about JoJo's on First Street...I looked up his website, read the reviews and thought it was worth a try. What a find! I booked an appointment for haircut 2 weeks out...asked for a cancellation if possible, I was called and got in within a week. JoJo was so sweet, enthusiastic about his trade (passionate in fact). I was drawn to him immediately. He gave me a great, updated look - professional for my real estate business and yet, easy to do myself. Next I booked color! That's scary. I came back...he studied me again. Face shape, coloring, eyes, skin, etc. He came up with a 3 color formulation that is just what I have been dying for - trying to communicate and never getting! He GETS ME! He considers age with your new look - that's important to me also. He's a wonderful human being and his staff is very kind and service oriented. There is mastery in this salon... but you won't find arrogance...so refreshing. I highly recommend!

You'll love your new haircut--and everyone else will too!. No matter where I've gone, I've always thought of coming back to JoJo. After being JoJo's faithful client for 9 years, I moved to L.A. and went to salons where celebrities frequent, but I never left as happy as when I went to JoJo's Hair Studio. I'm glad to be back at this salon.

JoJo has artistic flair and unlimited creativity. He follows each client's jaw line and facial structure, so each creation is flattering. He takes his time while cutting to ensure each style has movement and shape. I just got my hair cut today and received 9 compliments!

JoJo is an extraordinarily talented stylist.

horrible haircut and place!. I went to jojo's after reading the reviews! First time I went I got a cut with Miranda. She was a good stylist who understood hair. But htis time I went after 4 months. All his old stylists have left Jojo. I think its because of his rude behavior!

Anyways, the new people are really new. Dont know or understand hair! Crystal, the new stylist, I explained to her I wanted a new style and explained what I had in the past.

Totally clueless this one! Sent me home in tears!

I would suggest anyone who steps into Jojo to be really really careful!

Any newcomers, watch out, you may get rubbed onto the newbies and then ur life can get screwed.

Wonderful experience!. JoJo's is a wonderful hair salon. I have unruly, frizzy, THICK, curly hair and I have been looking for a hair stylist to really understand it. I found this at JoJo's. JoJo is very detail oriented with a great sense of style. He really knows his techniques and makes each style the client's own. He is fun to talk with and makes you feel at home in his salon. Crystal also worked with my hair and is wonderful. She straightened my hair with so much detail and patience. When she was done, I felt like I had stepped out of a magazine or a movie. Simply Wonderful. These folks spend a lot on their clients and are very experienced and patient. Loved it!

Jojo is too good. Jojo gives you an amazing haircut and promises to give you a different cut every time you go to him. He is too good and extremely experienced. Just leave it upto him and you will walk out with the most flaterring hair cut.

Best haircut in the Bay Area!. Jojo is part artist, part engineer, part philosopher, and part visionary! Each time I walk out of his salon, I have a hip, gorgeous do that is both flattering and just a bit different then my prior style. Jojo is constantly taking master classes to learn the latest techniques, although I personally think he could be teaching them. Karen does a very nice job with color and is extremely accomodating. Hannah also does a brilliant job shaping eye brows. Highly recommended!

Results show it! Best Salon Experience!. Everytime I leave Jojo's salon, I get rave reviews about my cut. I allow him to customize and experiment -- each time, the results are outstanding! The cut is unique, it emphasizes my features, compliments my personal style, it maintains its shape as it grows and most importanly, it is easy to maintain.

Just like any artist, you will get the most out of your money if you allow him to be free and 'play' with your hair. I highly recommend this approach and you will not be disappointed!

The staff is great! They always make you feel at home and welcome. Jojo's positive attitude is very refreshing! The decor contributes to the warm-and-friendly feel of the salon. It is always clean, and organized.

Each trip is worth it for me. I am confident that it will be for you too. Spread the word!

Solid 10!! I'm going back!. I have naturally curly hair and have always had a difficult time finding the right style. I showed up late on a Friday and Jojo fit me in as the last cut of the day. All the fears I had of being rushed out of the chair, disappeared when I sat down. Jojo gave me a cut that was so personalized and looked fantastic. I am going back again!

A hair style tailor made just for me!. I have been a client of Jo Jo's for the past 16 years. Everytime I leave his chair, I come out with the most flattering, envouge look [(every cut is different, being how Jo Jo has always tailor made a cut for me (free style)]. Also, the coloring is personalized (just for me). He is and his staff are extremely detail oriented, proffesional and above all honest.
