You won't get trendy "Fresh Mex" or mango margaritas, just solid Mexican dishes that will please the whole family..



Bites We Like:
The fajitas offer tender strips of marinated beef or chicken, grilled with bell peppers, onions and tomatoes. The crab enchilada is nicely topped with alfredo sauce and sliced avocado. The Mexican Chicken is a wonderful flame-broiled chicken breast marinated in lime juice, garlic and olive oil. Any of the taco, burrito, enchilada, tostada combo plates will certainly do you well. Kudos to the restaurant for the large sizes.

For Starters:
Make sure to pay attention to the appetizer menu. The nachos are particularly decadent, but go with the sampler to broaden the scope.

It's a Family Affair
El Charro is particularly well-suited for families—even those with small children.

Margaritaville:
The margaritas aren't fancy but they are very solid. Go with the classic frozen with salt.
