I love this place.. The food and service have been excellent everytime I have been to this restaurant. My servers have always been nice and the food always tastes good. I like the all-booth seating since I hate sitting at tables. Most of the desserts are yummy too.

Long Time Favorite. Have probably dined here a dozen times - always enjoyable. Professional service, quiet and sophisticated ambience - but still comfortable. Great drinks. And food is always great. I love it. My favorite steak place in south bay.

Yum Yum. To start off, the bar was a really nice place to relax and have a drink. We moved over to dinner after wards and the seafood sampler platter was excellent. The steak was top quailty that a friend had. I loved the fish because it was so tasty.

Good, But Overrated. I like the Grill- our office often holds breakfast or lunch meetings in the back room- but I think this place is a bit overrated.

Food is okay, but nothing memorable. While the decor is nice, I don't think it lends a romantic feel to the whole experience. I think this would be a better place to take a client rather than having a romantic dinner.

One of their private dining rooms would be a great place to have a rehearsal dinner, though. The service is always good, and the restaurant is conveniently located in the Fairmont hotel.

One of my favorite places. The Grill on the Alley is one of my favorite restaurants. Great food and great service. We often have to take some home and then get two meals out of it. One of the few places that I feel is worth the price.

Great Food. If you go here you have to eat any of the steaks they have on the menu. The place is set up so nice and quiet and the service is surpurb. You can get full bottles of wine as well as half bottles. I cant even begin to explain how good the steaks are at this place. You have to go try it yourself to believe it.

I heard good things and received better. By far the best steaks, wine and service in all of Downtown San Jose. I have to try to dine in most other restaurants, but at The Grill it was easy for me to dine comfortably. Big steaks and it was well worth the price. Looking around the restaurant I saw active management and waiters were very attentive. My own waiter made good recomendations and seemed very professional. I'm definitely going back.

Simply Delicious!. I'm still dreaming about the lobster martini, the filet mignon, and the peach melba. It was more than a satisfying meal. Excellent service and we were seated immediately.

Best steak in US. Incredible steaks, particularly the Filet Mignon. Best in U.S. and I've tried 'em all. For that matter, I've never had a better steak anywhere in the world.

Not Worth The Price !. I was impressed by the previous ratings/reviews. So, my husband and I went for a try today. We ordered the fried onion and Fried potatos. The Fried potatos is soggy. We had New York Steak & Porterhouse both well-done. The standard of the food is average. What I can say is, too pricy - the foods doesn't worth so much, we are paying for the environment not the food.
