The Silicon Valley's future doctors and computer mavens get to explore hundreds of hands-on exhibits..
In Short
The Tech has more than 240 hands-on exhibits in four themed galleries that teach about technologies affecting daily life. Play at the inventor's workbench, make a movie in the Digital Studio, use the latest animation technology, shake in an earthquake, build a microchip, create a 3-D self-portrait, or learn about the transparent body in an exhibit on MRI and ultrasound scanning. Visitors can meet inventors at the lecture series.

View Silicon Valley.
We don't have bus tours of Silicon Valley, but you can see it all at The Tech Museum! Good historical perspective as well as up-to-date exhibits on current technology.

The Tech museum is a great place for kids and adults alike. The Imax theater is awesome, it is like watching movies in the fourth dimension. There are always cool hands on exhibits that entertain the kiddies for hours. Definately a great place to learn and have fun!
