San Jose >Pure Bliss
Last week while I was visiting my sister in San Jose, CA I had the opportunity to visit the ?Pure Bliss Day Spa? in Almaden Valley. I am a cake decorator in MA and I spend a lot of time on my feet doing my job. I also develop sore hands and neck muscles in the course of doing my job. My sister wanted me to visit the spa and have a relaxing massage. I was a little nervous about going because I have never had a massage before and also because I am deaf and was afraid I would not be able to communicate with the people I would meet.
Was I surprised!!!!!!! When I met Johanna, her friendly manner put me at ease right away. She & I were able to communicate without any problems. She made me feel very comfortable and it was the most relaxing hour imaginable. I thoroughly enjoyed my first massage and can not wait to see her again on my next visit to CA. It was the best!
I would highly recommend her spa to everyone, but especially to deaf people who might otherwise be concerned that she would not be able to communicate with you. She is very personable and makes the experience a very pleasurable one.
Magic hands!. This spa is under new ownership and wow, what a difference. The new owner, Johanne is very knowledgeable about skincare and really, has magic hands! I learned a lot during my facial and brow wax - and I'm loving the products I took home.
Very strong sales pitch. Made appt for a regular old facial. During procedure, esthetician mentioned she had this great mask to put on my face and did so, but didn't say it would add $20 to the price. Lots of pushing of produts, standing over you with their book to pressure you to make the next appointment. Missed lots of blackheads, kept praising my skin saying there was barely anything to extract. Not going back and not recommending to anyone.
