Down-home, Midwest-style cooking and a straightforward menu to please the whole family..
In Short
Marie Callender's began in the 1940s in Orange County, Calif., as a bakery that specialized in pies. Now, pie is only a slice of this nationwide franchise's offerings. Family-style comfort foods like pot roast, pot pie, tuna melt and country-fried steak as well as pasta, burgers, salads and sandwiches dominate the menu. But, the big draw is still pie: More than 31 freshly-baked varieties are available daily. Whole pies also can be purchased to go.

Wonderful, beautiful, great restaurant!.
Great place to eat! Wonderful service, food, and very quick. I would make reservations for dinner but not for lunch. The food is fresh and a great place for kids. They have brunch on Sundays which is $$ for adults and $ for children. The kid's meals a very decent. One waiter, Daniel, is the best waiter there. He will chat a little, talk with the kids, joke around and be very funny. He also is very quick, brings your cornbread without asking and soooooo much more. I love this place and prices are very good. Church groups and elderly will definitly love it. It is all you could possibly want!

Easy to find parking....
Selection was so bad that after having not eaten all day I read the menu and lost my appetite.
Three star restaurant prices for 1 star diner entrees. Service was pretty bad, for instance they started closing up 30 minutes before the posted closing time and they spent more time cleaning up other tables than serving us. To top my experience all off, after I payed I recieved $13, all in 1's for change. I probably wont ever be coming back, probably because I may forget about this experiece in about 15 years. If you are in this area of town there are plenty of other places you can go to for a better dining experience.

Oh boy....
Not the best place in the South Bay. I can think of 500 other restaurants to pick before MC. The pie is good, but the rest of the menu is rough. Avoid the gravy.
