NOT ANYMORE!! Bowling is now cool. Oakridge Lanes is cool! I don't see any men with Polyesther Pants on, or ,anyone that smells like "Ben Gay". However, I'm still dissapointed about the Bowling Shoes. C'mon guys, get Nike to do something cool for ya! The first time my son coerced me into midnight bowling, I threw my baggy sweats and sweatshirt on. I bragged about how I was going to kick his butt in bowling. When we finally arrived, my mouth still yappin about "beating him in bowling", I walked through the doors, and to my amazement, I told my son and his friend, I gotta go home and change into something presentable to something close to "Night club ware". Yeah I felt stupid in sweats! When I returned, I didn't mind the wait for a lane. I did mind, the WAIT for food. We used to be able to go up to a window. They took that convenience away! We thought we would be able to eat when we got their. NOPE! We sat at a table and waited, we tried to get the attention of a waiter, DENIED! When we got to our lane, we Finally got someone to take out order, so this is about and 1hour after we have arrived and now we have a lane and starving to death! We get our drinks, 1/2 way through the game, than our food arrives when our GAME IS OVER! Are your F'in kidding me? AND IT WAS COLD! How much did our bill total up to? 5 people w/ shoe rental, 2 order of cold fries, 2 orders of cold fried somthin else.... $100.00. They really need to work on that food service!! I still tipped them well! I used to wait tables! C'mon servers, get on the giddy up and work on your serving skills! I'm sure their is a lot of tips to be made their, the wait staff needs to be TRAINED PROPERLY!! So the main thing you get to do besides bowl, is WAIT for your Drinks, WAIT for your Food, WAIT for the WAITER, and Keep Waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting...........OH and the bathrooms FILTHY I took pictures! I'll post em!
Pros: It's fun
Cons: Don't plan on eating hot food or use the bathroom
