Tips for Santa Teresa Shell Station

Great service and knowledgable. I had brought my 1996 Chrysler Cirrus in to Santa Teresa Shell for a diagnostic (kept stalling out) hoping they could locate the problem. I even had my car at the dealer twice with no results. The service manager at Santa Teresa Shell took the time to listen to my car problems. He asked numerous questions as far as when the car stalls, hot, cold, etc...not even the dealer inquired this much. I was given an estimate of $196.00 which I thought was a bit high but decided to have them give it a shot. The service manager called me in the afternoon asking if he could keep the car overnight so he could see what the car was like when cold. That afternoon on the second day he called that he had pinned down the problem. I told him to go ahead and fix the car. When I picked up the car it actually ran better then it has in a long time. He explained, in detail, what tests were performed. He said he spent over 4 hours diagnosing the problem, and after reading some of the information he had for the car during his diagnoses, I believe it took that long and the quote of $196.00 was actually more than fair. I don't think I'll be going anywhere else for repairs on my car other than Santa Teresa Shell.

Great. I had brought my 1996 Chrysler Cirrus in for a problem I was having with it (kep stalling out) to Santa Teresa Shell a few weeks ago. When I went in they seemed very friendly and genuinely glad I was there (an unusual thing anymore). Anyway, I explained what was going on to the service manager with my car. And after I was done explaining what's what he started to ask me a lot of questions about my car, past repairs, service history, etc... I asked why he was asking so many questions and he said it helps to know the vehicles history to more accurately diagnose problems (made sense to me). Oh, I should say I have had my car at the dealer twice for the same problem and they are clueless. Anyway, I was given a quote of $196 for the diagnostic (which I thought was kind of high), but decided to leave the car with them. That afternoon the service manager at Santa Teresa Shell gave me a call and asked to keep the car overnight so he could get some kind of sensor readings (???) when it was cold and I said that would be ok. The next morning, Scott called and said they have found the problem and the part would cost $123. I told him to go ahead with the repairs. When I picked up the car, Scott explaind the work order and went over the diagnostic papers with me. I now understand why they quoted me $196 in the beginning. He said he spent about 4 hours on my car and after seeing the diagnostic print outs, I believe him. The car has'nt run this good in quite a few years and I have not had one problem since Santa Teresa Shell fixed my car. I'll never take my car anywhere else for repairs or service. This place is great.

Honest and friendly. An honest and friendly repair service station (a true rarity anymore). One of the best experiences I've ever had regarding my car. I would HIGHLY recommend this station to anyone who is looking for a good, honest repair shop for their car(s).

These guys are great. The people at Santa Teresa Shell are awesome. They were very friendly when I first came in (I have never been in there before). I just came in for an oil change and they really took care of me. Infact the oil change was very affordable too. I needed a couple of other services and decided to have them do it a week later. And they were just as friendly as the first time I was in. Being a young women in school, it's sometimes hard to find a repair shop that you can trust won't rip you off, and they won't. As I said before, they're great.
