Amazing. They really care about your pet's well-being, even beyond their stay. The size of the actual runs is also amazing. They can get lots of fresh air and playtime. Whenever I take my 2 dogs, they share a run and I don't worry that they're going to be on top of each other the whole time. You can also choose to pay extra for outdoor playtime, which is, in my opinion, the best part.

Great!. Super awesome place. They totally took care of my dog and they seemed very happy when I picked them up.

they are great. I had great service with this company. When I left my dog I was a little worried about leaving her here, but when I came back to pick her up she was fine she was happy and she was already attached to the owner and liked her very much. Thanks again for the great service provided by you guys and making my little baby feel comfortable and happy while she was here.

My Maltese Died There!!!. Would you leave your child here? No, No, and NO!!!!!!I

I boarded my three dogs there. My three year old Maltese died at Springdale Kennels. NO explanation given. My English Bulldog had green mucus coming out of her nose when we arrived to pick the dogs up. NO explanation given.

One dog out of three survived Springdale Kennels unscathed!!!!!!

They have a Vet. on-call. He is ONLY on-call for emergencies. Apparently, he was NOT phoned in time to save my Maltese (who was healthy going in, but dead coming out.) NO explanation given, as to why the Vet. was not called sooner!!!!!!!

I felt like I lost a child, and there was NO one to say, "I'm sorry for your loss."

This establishment needs to re-evaluate why they are in business. Are they doing a service or dis-service to the public??? ALL pets deserve to be treated like our loved ones.

If all this owner cares about is making money, then please find another kennel that will take PROPER care of your pet.

I am writing this review so that YOU do NOT suffer the heartache that I did. Find a kennel with a web-cam. Watch how your pet is being treated. I cry everyday for my Maltese, because NO explanation was given!!!!!!!!

BEWARE of Springdale Kennels. If you love your pet, BOARD ELSEWHERE. DO NOT TAKE THE CHANCE OF COMING HOME TO FIND THAT YOUR PET DIED WHILE UNDER THEIR CARE. They do NOT give explanations!!!!!

REMEMBER.....the so-called nice people "up front" still take orders from the callous owner who puts making money in front of taking proper care of YOUR pet.

Hurt the owner where she will feel it most----her deposit slip!!!!!!

I am sure there are other pet owners out there that need to come forward, if you have had a similar incident. Call Animal Control, the Better Business Bureau, and the City of San Jose. If there are enough complaints, something WILL be done. Contact me through this review, and I will share your complaints with the judge. (My Maltese meant the world to me. She was my comfort dog when my mother died. I am taking off work and taking Springdale Kennels to court.)

joy and caroline no longer here. We have finally given our notice...This place has gone steadily down hill....wish you all the best and hope some of you can find us in saratoga......thanx

#1 in kennel and grooming. I've been using Springdale for both grooming and kennel services for the pas 20+ years. All staff members have always provided exceptional services and pets are treated as if they were their own.

Don't think I'll be coming back. First and only time I've boarded here, my dog came back sick after only 3 days here. Don't recommend.

Horrible. I have taken my dogs here 3 times. The first time they got fleas (to be expected from being around so many dogs). $60 in "Frontline" cleared that up.

The second time my dogs got Kennel Cough so bad it gave one of my dogs a respiratory infection. $330 vet bill.

The third time my dogs got parasitic worms a $115 vet bill.

Although I'm not very smart for taking them back here after all these problems. The staff assured me they didn't pick it up at their kennel. But I have vet bills that correspond with the kennel bills and somehow my dogs got "magically" ill hours after leaving Springdale Kennel. The staff offered no sympathy, apology, or compensation of any kind. I am VERY unhappy with the lack of responsibility of this organization. Springdale Kennels most obviously do not check their client's vet records... Nor do they care about the well-being of their clients and the diseases their clients bring home to their families. Please don't take your dogs here and support this horrible business.
