Great customer service. YUMMMMMMMMMMMM... I had the pulled pork bbq with Mashed potato and southern baked beans soups. Generous portions of all, by the way. Pork: juicy and delicious, and the sauce is oh so good. Brisket: lean and tasty.

Mashed potato: I've had better, but it was good.

Southern Baked Beans soup: so good...tomato-based recipe with tomatos and all--not too heavy like some baked beans tend to be.

Cornbread: is the only one missing and it would be perfect

I ordered to go after a heavy work in the office..

Feels like heaven when I got home.. Come to DADDY...

Great find.. If you love BBQ and want a nice cheap lunch, it doesn't get any better than CJ's. For 7 bucks, you get a choice of two meats, bread, and a side. I'd say the best choices are the pork ribs and the hotlinks. The potato salad also tastes really good. The restaurant is a little run down (rusty chairs, wobbly tables) but if you can overlook that you will not be disappointed. I've also been to the JC on Saratoga and both restaurants are up to par.

best bbq in town!!. the food is good!! the bbq combo sandwich is my favorite...meat is just perfect and sauce compliments it very well!! The prices are reasonable and the service is decent. pirces range from $5.00 to $40.00. The interior is not too good, looks like cheap leftovers from 20 years ago and they don't have a public bathroom available. When your eating bbq your hands get messy and you need to clean up after yourself.

The meat is really good. This is a very small "hole in the wall" take-out place. The meat is extraordinarily good. The pork ribs are very meaty and tender and delicious. They have a fairly good variety of different meats. Their side dishes are a little lacking; barely adequate. However, if you're really into meat, the side dishes won't matter; you'll like this place.

C J BBQ. A very small "hole in the wall" that's great for lunch or dinner. THe beef ribs are the best. The sauce is great and you should ask for an extra serving. Don't look for anything fancy here. This is a great place to roll up your sleaves and dig into a pile of ribs. Order the large platter only if you are very hungry or want to share.
