This King Arthur-themed restaurant dishes out pizzas, sandwiches, salads and more to hungry families and couples on dates..
The first Round Table Pizza opened in Menlo Park, Calif. in 1959. Today, the chain boasts more than 500 restaurants internationally and is recognized for its made-from-scratch dough, mozzarella, provolone and cheddar blend and gourmet toppings like fire-roasted Roma tomatoes, creamy garlic sauce and salami. Pizzas are available in pan and "skinny" (aka, super-thin) varieties. The menu also offers up turkey, ham and chicken club sandwiches, bread sticks and salads.
Good quality, but high prices.. I was honestly surprised to read other reviews that said Papa John's et al were as good as Round Table. They are not! Round Table is giving you significantly better quality but they are charging top prices as well. I like their pizza, but I consider it a treat. $25+ for extra large.
You gotta be kidding....
$30 for 1 pizza? Are you serious?
Food was OK but for the prices they charge it should be gourmet.
I would not recommend this place at all.
Goto pizza-my-heart down the street and save $25.
Around the world Pizza. I read a review of one member who characterized Round Table Pizza as "the only reason californians like this pizza is because they've never tried anything else". Well let me tell you something, I have tried pizza in just about every region in the United States(USAF) for 8 years; and I'll tell you Round Table ranks very high for overall quality and taste. Crust-better than New york--Toppings and sauce--better than Chicago-- Overall, slice for slice they have one best pizza's being made.
Consistently Great!. Almost every time I've gone to a not so good pizza place I go to Round Table next and am surprised yet again at how good they are. This applies to any of their restaurants. I love their traditional sauce.
Better Pan @ a mom and pops. Support the Local mom and pop restaurants There is better pie out there!
too pricey. i think roundtable charge us too much for a pizza, for a lesser price i can get papa john pizza, which lot more delicious than rtb pizza.
I remember.... We left Palo Alto 17 years ago, and I STILL remember the good time and great food all the City employees had after work at Round Table. I also still remember their uproariously funny promotion years ago of "I'm HELPING..." by a new employee dolt, to advertise their ingredients freshness. Round Table is great! Go and enjoy a great time, whether romantic, family, group, or for just fun!
round table????. omg i can't beleive round table made list .. no not in san francisco bay area...
