GREAT food!.
Title says it all; this place has amazing food. Everything from the steaks to the lasagna.
Parking is good as long as you go around back; typically not too long of a wait either. Prices are reasonable and quality of food is outstanding. Nice wine list; fresh menu. Highly recommended.
Didn't try the desserts but they looked pretty good too..
Awful, terrible, horrible.
The entire staff was unfreindly and clearly wanted to be somewhere else. The waiter brought two glasses of red to the table and said, "you need to taste each, I forgot which is which". Didn't matter, the wine sucked as did the selection.
On to the meal, pasta salty and soggy, veal tough and chewy.
The atmosphere? It was so loud I could not hear myself gag on the food................
Classic Italian dishes served in an intimate and casual dining setting..
A cozy welcome to "my neighborhood."
The Food
Mio Vicino means "my neighborhood" in Italian, and that about sums up the kind of place Mio Vicino is trying to be. Pastas sometimes miss the mark with improbable combinations, but the Caesar salad, pizzas, and tiramisu have a broad following. Kids won't go for the pancetta-wrapped radicchio, so while you're tucking into that, order them a cheese pie. The house wine, Mio Red, is big, fruity, and a great value.
The Scene
There are three outlets of this family-friendly Italian restaurant. The one in Campbell is located in the Old Town area with a view of the water tower. An open kitchen keeps the place lively, especially for those cozied up at a counter seat. The flagship Santa Clara spot has pretty yellow brick walls and lots of windows and the Willow Glen location is bigger, with a rich, earthtone interior.

Our favorite neighborhood restaurant!!. We are regulars at the Lincoln Ave location. The service, price and quality of the food are always amazing. We have been many times and their specials are creative and very tasty! All of the staff are very friendly and able to make great recommendations on what to try and able to also make accommodations for picky eaters!
Good food, and service. This is a great neighborhood spot. The food is consistently good, and well priced, but it is really bright for an italian restaurant. I think they should turn the lights down.
Bad Food!. The visit to the Willow Glen location of Mio Vicino was the worst dining experience we have had in a while. The pasta was pre-cooked and soggy. The Filet Mignon tasted was of poor quality and preparation. The fod was so bad it ruined our evening.
