These guys are GREAT!!!.
These guys are GREAT!!! I actually called them after the first repair company completely flaked on me. These guys came right out, knew what they were doing, got the needed parts ASAP, called me right back to reschedule the repair once they had the parts and were on-time, neat and very good with my kids (who watched every move they made and asked questions, too!). I found their prices to be competitive with other companies but their customer service and knowledge is superb! They also knew that my fridge door was part of a recall by Kitchen Aid and managed to get me a NEW door for FREE from the manufacture!! The other company had no knowledge of this and was planning on fixing the defective parts.
I will definitely call J&H if I need future repairs...they were great!!!
Thanks for your help. I would like to thank you for your help with the replacement of my ice maker. Your help over the phone make it easy to remove the ice maker and replace it with a new one. That was the problem and the water valve was OK. Thank you for doing business the way it should be done. I will tell my friends about you and maybe it will generate some business for you.
J&H kept at it.
My Whirlpool range was taking 4 hours to bake a chicken! (We're not into the raw food craze.) The oven would cycle on and off, and finally OFF. The J&H guy diagnosed the problem, ordered the part and came back again (twice) to replace the part...
But the following week, the lasagna came out cold. After 2 more service calls, J&H replaced a second control board at no extra cost. And finally there is kitchen serenity. Our excuse for being dedicated micro-nukers is gone... It's been great using the real oven.
The total Labor cost was $109 for several trips (diagnosis and part replacement). The repair guys were prompt and courteous. The problem was not obvious, and J&H kept at it.
Excellent Techs. I would like to commend Billy for the excellent service and care he took to fix our Whirlpool washing machine. I found him to be extremely competent and reliable. He asked good questions, listened, evaluated and quickly initiated a fix. Billy actually found where A&E had improperly installed a part and he fixed it. To put this in perspective, we had A&E visit our home 5 times, over a 6 week period, and the machine was in worse shape by the end of their last visit then when they started. We had a different tech come out each time and none of them seemed to know what they were doing. Each tech had difficulty knowing what the previous tech did or what part they ordered, because much of the information wasn't entered properly in their computer. On several occasions, they called Sears to ask for instruction. Once, the A&E tech actually held out a part and asked if I knew what it was for. I called Whirlpool and asked what good was the warranty. How frustrating! The Whirlpool rep I spoke with apologized and highly recommended J&H. You can imagine how grateful I am that Billy cared and had the intelligence, knowledge and professionalism to do a perfect job in quickly diagnosing the problem the first time. I will highly recommend your company to Whirlpool and anyone who needs service. Please convey my regards and thanks to Billy. You have a gem! Also, please thank Sandy who handled my call initially. She reassured me only one tech from J&H would be involved and she said he was excellent. She was right!
Restored my faith in humanity!. I recently called you to voice concerns over the handling of a service call at our house. I dialed the phone and asked for you and I must admit my adrenaline was already in full song. Rather than treat me the same way I had been talked to by both Best Buy and LG, you very calmly explained that the first service call was unacceptable, that you would take care of it. My father taught me to live by the golden rule and I have to say that you have helped restore my faith in humanity. You could have handled this situation many different ways, your choice was to do the right thing. This all took place during a very trying time in our house hold. My father passed away Friday a week ago, followed six days later by mother. My point is, you turned a potentially bad situation into a very good one simply by taking the time to be a human being.
Great customer service when I was really desperate for help.
I am SO grateful. I just bought a Whirlpool Duet Sport Dryer and I didn't notice that the door needed to be reversed until after the delivery men had left. So I tried to reverse the door myself, following the instructions in the Use & Care Guide. I spent hours until I figured out what I was doing wrong.
The step that says to rotate the inner ring of the outer door 180 degrees was IMPOSSIBLE for me to do by myself and it really really seemed as though it would be impossible to do period without breaking the plastic tabs. The Whirlpool customer service phone # just read me the instructions from the manual. It was apparently not covered under warranty, nor was it apparently covered in the cost of delivery. The first shop on the Whirlpool approved repair list wanted $100 for a service call.
I called J&H and they said to bring the door in and they fixed it, for free. They couldn't have been nicer. The shop is hard to find (it isn't intended for customers to visit; they normally come to you), but I am SO grateful. Whirlpool eventually sent me an email reply to my written question saying the door could NOT be reversed. What a crummy way to avoid addressing my problem!!! I don't know what I would have done if J&H hadn't been so nice; I absolutely could not see paying $100 to get this done on my brand new $1000 dryer.
Quality Service!. The new frame is just what the Doctor ordered. The oven is installed now and all though I haven't cooked anything yet it appears to be working just fine. Thanks for the quality service.
