Tequila is the best in San Jose.
I looked long and hard for a burrito that could match the fantastic taste and quality of the Legendary SF Mission District (burrito heaven. any taqueria you go in will be amazing). there are a lot of places in SJ that are much more convenient, but this place is truly a diamond in the rough. the burritos are slightly grilled to give excellent texture. the meat selections are great and of good quality. the ingredients are heaped on. No skimping. Delicious. Other must try menu items : Super Nachos are the best i've had anywhere. I live out of the area now and will stop by for them when in San Jose. Enchiladas are very good. even the simple bean and cheese burrito was full of flavor when you are nearly pennyless.Tequila Taq is Highly reccomended.
By the way, I now work in Livermore and have tried the Tequila there (apparently owned by the same family) and i was really disappointed. Very high prices and the Taste & quality do not anywhere match the SJ location.
