Tips for Kids Park

A busy Mom's Godsend!. I think KidsPark is great! With all the stuff I need to get done, like laundry, cleaning, and errands, it's so great to have a place that is convenient to drop off my kids. I think the staff is so amazingly patient, especially with such a large group of kids to attend to, and never seem to be frazzled or exhausted. My daughters love to go there. I have even run into a few old friends who are now moms and they also say how much they enjoy the use of KP. One of my girlfriends can't wait until her daughter turns 2 so that they can all go together, and she and I can go out to lunch.

In response to the other reviews, I think you need to dictate your preferences to the staff there about the kids' care... They will do their best to honor your wishes. For instance, I asked that at lunch, my girls not be asked to clean their plates. (sooo bad for eating habits!). They did as I wished.

The kids got some play time and art creative time. I got my stuff done. What a Help!

I LOVE KIDSPARK. Someone wrote below that they were a bit upset about how Kids Park worked. They are correct about having a place to watch movies but its up to the child if they want socialize! If a child is shy and stays to them selves, then watching a movie is perfect for them! My son age 3 loves going there. I take him when I want to get some grocery shopping done or spend time one on one with my other kids. Its great for single hardworking mothers who just don?t have an extra pair of hands to do things with children age 6 and under. I took my son there recently so that I can take my mother to a play for her birthday and to give her a break from babysitting my son for once. I LOVE KIDS PARK!

Movies and Sweets Instead of Attention. I dropped off my 4-year-old son for an afternoon recently, after having received multiple recommendations for Kidspark. When I picked him up, some 3 hours later, I found out that he had watched 2 hours TV, including at least some advertisements. I'm not pleased. If I had wanted to use the TV as a babysitter, I could've done it at home. The reason I took him to KidsPark is because it has nice toys and lots of kids, so I hoped he would have fun playing with others. No. He came home telling me he saw a movie about Buzz Lightyear, and that Disneyland is a wonderful place to visit, and it has castles and Mikey and Mary Poppins and we should go. He enjoyed his day, because, as he put it "we watched movies and ate sugary snacks." Not what I expected, and I won't let my son go here again.
