Great ramen!. Definitely the best ramen I've had in the U.S. I got mine with less salt and less fat, with an egg.

Nissin ain't got nothing on Ramen Halu!. Haha! Well, up until this point, the only ramen I've had is from them. And now, because of Ramen Halu, I don't think I'll eat any other kind of ramen again! I don't remember what I got, but it was around $13. Yes, that's correct, $13! Forgot about the 10 for $1 stuff you get at Safeway. But, in all honesty, you get your money's worth. My bowl came with more vegetables and meat than in most combo plates at Panda Express! I've tried all the different broths and they're all delicious. In my opinion, they don't taste salty at all. They have a weird schedule, so make sure you give them a call before going down there. Also, it really does get crowded and their dining room is small, so be prepared for a wait.

Best ramen in the Bay Area. This place has the best ramen in the bay area and I have tried many ramen places locally. To respond to previous reviewers, you can specify "less salty" when ordering, and japanese ramen everywhere in the world costs about the same, and lets not get into portion sizing...

User review by chocotiffy. A friend took me here for lunch and I've been coming here ever since. I love the noodle soup and it is not salty at all. Ramen Halu has a very authentic and cozy atmosphere with a cute little bar. It can be crowded on the weekends, so go early!

If You.... If you can stand the salty soup base, it may be worth the try. I ordered the Halu ramen. The taste of the soup wasnt deep enough. I went there because of a lot of people recommend that they have a very good ramen. I was expected their ramen could impress me but they did not. Their items are a bit pricy! I ordered a fatty pork appetizer that come with four tiny pieces and it was almost $5.00.

Ramen lovers, YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS!. Just trust me on this one. I've been eating Ramen around Japan and I thought I would never taste it over in the US. But Halu didn't betray me. Great Ramen, actually It's probably the best in the Bay. Give it a try. Go early, theres a line.
