Guess I caught Gloria on a Good Day..... I was really surprised to read the negative reviews about this place. Just ate there for the first time a couple weeks ago and I really enjoyed it. My boyfriend and I had a late lunch there on a Saturday and the place was completely empty. It's a tiny little hole in the wall but the inside was clean. I had Chile Rellenos and they were fantastic. The breadng had a little crunch to it, not too mushy (that's personal preference of course). My boyfriend got a burrito, which he says wasn't too spicy. In his words "well-put-together, good solid food".

I hope that we enjoy it as much next time, and that this positive experience is the rule rather than the exception for this place.

Signed up to city search just to do this review.. Yes thats right, I signed up just to give my 2 cents which will save you $$$. I just came back from Gloria's for the first time and it took them around 20 MINUTES to make ONE Beef-Pork Burrito & I was there before the Lunch Rush. How much for extra meat (pork) $2.00!

SO $8.12 for a NON super burrito which took 20 minutes to make.

PS I'm typing this as I eat the burrito, not the same caliber as other authentic Mexican restaurants.

BAD BAD BAD. The other reviewer was dead on about this place. Their food is terrible. Although the lady behind the counter was friendly. I ordered one of their "famous" burittos...famous for what???? Being tasteless & expensive? So what if the burittos are kind of large. It's pointless if it tastes bad & you don't want to finish it! I agree w/the other guy...don't eat at Gloria's!
