With its kid-friendly vibe, booth seating and late-night hours (most stores are open 24 hours), Denny's draws night owls, seniors and families with kids. The menu sticks to classic American staples: wings, chicken strips, burgers, salads and the like. But breakfast is king, with specialties ranging from skillets, egg scrambles, French toast platters and several variations on the famous Grand Slam: two buttermilk pancakes, two eggs, two bacon strips and two sausage links.

Winner!. You can't go wrong with Denny's - consistently decent, no-frills food at wallet-friendly prices. I always go for their breakfast menu - everything is good, and cooked exactly to order. Coffee is good too. The service may not be overly friendly, but in my experience it is always prompt and efficient. This was a particularly momentous and memorable trip to Denny's as it was the first time that Big Bird ever sampled the exquisite porcine delights of BACON!! I was so proud! \_o/
