We agree to come back again. We went as a group fo 14 person, adults and kids, all orders different items and drinks. The food was good and all the mexican dishes were served timely. The adults like the pitcher of margarita. From the out side place look small, once you enter it is clean and spacious restaurant.

Our group liked their Fresh Chips and Salsa was great. -Free as you sit down.

Big bar, we will go back again, good place to hang ourt for drinks and dinner.

Criminal behavior by employees at Carlos Goldsteins Mexican Restaurant. I will never book a party at Carlos Goldstein's in San Jose!!!! Not only did they discrimiate, extort, harrass, they did not make the food that was in the contract. They are a bunch of thugs that operate the business. The customer service was beyind poor. I plan on taking legal action because what they did to us was out right criminal. Not only should it be brought to people's attention, but immigration should be checked.

Thank God I ordered TO-GO. I just started working in the area and was dying for Mexican food so I thought I would try Carlos Goldsteins, weird name but I'd give it a try. Bad decision.

I ordered a Chimichanga when I opened by to-go box it was a plain burrito that looked like it had been sat on and then had sour cream and guacamole strategically placed on top. The guacamole tasted store bought, the chips tasted store bought. The flavors were way off, I asked for spicy and it was a mixture of sweet and roasted it was gross. The kicker was...I paid $13.95 for this!!!!

This was terrible. I won't go back again...be warned!
