Overlooks the town of Los Gatos and the south bay and is the District's largest preserve, encompassing nearly 17,000 acres of mostly rugged and steep terrain.. In Short
Sierra Azul is a haven for hikers and mountain bikers--5,236-acres of dense oak forests and open meadows. There are about 15 miles of trails here and they are steep: perfect for the advanced rider. Priest Rock stands at 1,762-feet. The Kennedy Trail is one of the most taxing on hikers or bikers, bringing you to 2,000-foot ridgetops with views of the Lexington Reservoir and Santa Clara Valley.
