In Short – The Fremont Older Open Space Preserve encompasses 739 acres and nearly 9 miles of trails. The Hayfield Trail leads up to the 900-foot peak of Hunter's Point with views of the Santa Clara Valley. Mountain bike rides can get a little crowded because of the proximity of the Silicon Valley set. The weather tends to be hot in the summer, so bring water, and beware: there is horse traffic to consider.
