If Crockett and Tubbs set up a bust in the South Bay, it would be under the neon palm trees at the fabulous Club Miami..
The Scene
Lousy filler music filters through a worse PA, but the live bands are good, and one would be hard-pressed to find a single flaw with the beautiful people stepping impeccably to salsa and merengue on the large dance floor. Even the bouncers wear tuxedos.
The People
The crowd is largely Latino, and Miami is obviously a favorite stop for wealthy foreigners traveling on business, but anyone who looks marvelous enough blends in easily.
Step to It
Thursdays through Saturdays feature live music, and free salsa lessons are offered at 7pm on Thursdays before the show.
Take a Seat:
For the less energetic, there's an outdoor patio and an indoor raised seating area, both with excellent views of the lovely dancers and socialites.
