Editorial Review for Hedley Club – by Lisa M. Hamilton

The Scene
No detail is spared, from the 1930s art-deco interior to the crackling fireplace flanked by luxurious palms. Lounging on the plush sofas by lamplight and listening to the grand piano feels more like Paris than Silicon Valley. It only gets more decadent beyond the heavy green curtains leading to the Palm Court Terrace. Neo-gothic fountains illuminated from below throw watery reflections onto the ivy-covered terra-cotta walls of the open-air patio. On special occasions, you can dance on white marble floors beneath dark, starry skies to swing and jazz bands.

The Draw
Sure, you can get beer and wine at the cherry-wood and marble bar, but you should put the expert mixologists to the test. The cosmopolitan is one of the best in the city. Drinks are more expensive than average, but you get what you pay for. The club features live music every Friday and Saturday nights.

Probably the best thing about the Hedley Club is the live music that they have Thursday-Sunday. It's a great place to get a cappuccino, which I might add is one of the best I have ever had. It's an absolutely wonderful place to just relax and talk with friends, and the decor makes you feel very relaxed. The only downside would be the size, because sometimes it can get a bit too crowded.
