Thursday Night Jazz Trio. The Russo Alberts Trio on Thursday Night. What a Trio! Those guys are really fantastic. I just moved up here from Los Angeles and am accustomed to hearing first-rate jazz on a regular basis at Catalina, Charlie O's, The Jazz Bakery and Vibrato, and I was completely floored by the Russo Alberts Trio. I've heard them maybe five times now, and those guys sound superb. I will be coming out to hear them as long as The Hedley Club keeps them there. Great band.

Wine was very good and reasonably priced, service has been solid as well. The wine list is excellent for the money, with a wide variety of wines at various price points. The mixed drinks are fantastic. The Hotel is lovely and relaxing, and the room itself is remarkable; sitting by the fire in a plush sofa with a buzz on listening to a sublime band, what could be better? This is the best venue in San Jose to hear music for and by adults, and the Hotel de Anza and the Hedley should be proud of their good taste.

Hotel De Anza's jazz lounge offers a comfortable, attractive escape inside its art-deco walls.. The Scene
No detail is spared, from the 1930s art-deco interior to the crackling fireplace flanked by luxurious palms. Lounging on the plush sofas by lamplight and listening to the grand piano feels more like Paris than Silicon Valley. It only gets more decadent beyond the heavy green curtains leading to the Palm Court Terrace. Neo-gothic fountains illuminated from below throw watery reflections onto the ivy-covered terra-cotta walls of the open-air patio. On special occasions, you can dance on white marble floors beneath dark, starry skies to swing and jazz bands.

The Draw
Sure, you can get beer and wine at the cherry-wood and marble bar, but you should put the expert mixologists to the test. The cosmopolitan is one of the best in the city. Drinks are more expensive than average, but you get what you pay for. The club features live music every Friday and Saturday nights.

Great place to lounge. Probably the best thing about the Hedley Club is the live music that they have Thursday-Sunday. It's a great place to get a cappuccino, which I might add is one of the best I have ever had. It's an absolutely wonderful place to just relax and talk with friends, and the decor makes you feel very relaxed. The only downside would be the size, because sometimes it can get a bit too crowded.
