This place is delicious, with a succulent blend of asian cusine! The bar is always slow and jammed up, but the infused liquors are tasty.

Service was good and the ambiance interesting!

best calamari. the ambiance was nice whether you eat inside or outside. outside during a great day is wonderful. see people walking by.

the calamari was crunchy and the salted just enough. the sauce is the awesome, dont know what it was made of but wow. yum yum yum... dont really for any other food there :) just the calamari, the couple of other main dishes that i tasted were too tasty or too much of oyster sauce .

Amazing Asian Fusion restaurant!. My Fiance took me to E&O trading company for an anniversary and I enjoyed every minute of the meal and the experience. A great dining experience is not only sharing it with people or someone, but it's also the food, the ambiance, conversation, and the friendliness of the wait staff. The appetizers were amazing, from the tuna tar tar, to this crispy corn, I knew once I tasted the appetizers, that the food was not going to disappoint. I also enjoyed the drinks, the drink menu consisted of martini's to an excellent wine list. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a special night with a group of friends, or with a special someone on a date night.

Great Romantic Asian Fusion Restaurant. E&O is one of my favorite fusion restaurant located in San Jose downtown accessible by the light rail. I have dined here numerous times and was never disappointed. The ambiance is romantic yet casual. The service is always friendly and attentive.

For your first visit I recommend the following dishes.

Small Plates

Indonesian Corn Fritters - Crispy fried corn dipped in sweet chilli soy sauce. Consider this their house specialty. If you ask your server for recommendation, he/she is most likely going to tell you about the corn fritters.

Spicy Sweet Potato Flat Bread - For those of you who is not a big fan of fried food, the flat bread is a healthier alternative.

Big Plates

Shaking Beef - Tender cubed beef filet cooked in a tasty garlic sauce. This dish is done almost exactly according to the classic Vietnamese recipe.

Shiso Pepper Grilled Salmon - Simple yet tasty grilled salmon completed with mixed greens.

Nice place to hang out especially for happy hours. went couple of times for happy hours... love the mango majito ... The corn fritters were delicious and the calamery.... hmmm yummy. I would never say no to E & O :)

Something Different. Interesting combination of Asian, Thai, and Indian flavors. Try the "Big Plates:" Firecracker Chicken, Grilled Salmon, and the steak (dinner only). The Small Plates are OK: Indonesian Corn Fritters didn't work for me, but steamed chicken dumplings were good. Good place for a large group or for drinks/dinner.

Great place, awesome food!. We usually drop by E&O on Fridays or Saturdays. The ambiance is great, good service, but the best part is the food...love the firecracker chicken...n' also the small plates, specially the fried shrimps...its yummy!

worst service ever. We went here for a friends birthday dinner. We did not get our order taken for over 20 mins. We had to ask where are waiter was. The food was ok but very expensive for the portion size. Bottom line if you don't mind poor service and high price its the place to go!
