Don't even bother. I recently had 2 massages here and the only thing that I can say about it is that it is NOT even close to as good as everyone said it was going to be. I don't know if all the people that reffered me had just not received enough massage to know that was not good, or maybe they actually thought it was nice, but both experiences were tolerable at best. The premium prices that they were asking for massage were definitely not worth it. The first time I went in, I asked for a firm massage and I got an oil rub down. The second time I went in, I asked her to address an injury and she couldn't have spent about 3 minutes on it. The facility itself was very nice but I wasn't there for the ambiance, I was there for a massage.

AMazing Deep Tissue Sport Massage. Ok I'm a muscular guy and it takes some strong hands to work on my back and legs. My wife bought me a gift certificate for my brthday, and I'm sory I waited so long to use it but I like to get massages after riding and this spa is a good place. The guy I had gave me a great 90 minute sport massage and I would definately book with him again. This Spa is very shi shi, which is why my wife likes it but they really pamper you which is kind of nice too. Their prices are the same as the prices at my health club, but their facility is much nicer. They also send you in to your own steam shower after your massage, which is nice. It's a relaxing place, I highly recomend it.

Best Spa, best place to relax, best place to be pampered. Not originally from the US, I have visited spas all over the world. I live in the South Bay and for years, I have been a loyal customer to a European spa in Saratoga. Simply by accident, I booked a massage at the Spa Los Gatos and I have been a loyal customer ever since. It is absolutely the best Spa in the Los Gatos, Saratoga area - possibly the entire Bay Area. It rivals Spas that I have visited in resort areas and in other countries. The only downside I would mention is the inconsistancy in the service I received from different massage therepists at this spa, but that happens anywhere. Fortunately, on one occassion I was asked if I objected to a male massage therapist, to which I had no objection. He offered the best, most comprehensive massage, I felt relaxed and well looked after; I request him each time when I book my massage. I now am happy with the service each time I visit - which of course is never often enough. Actually, I have found that in general, men have always offered better massages at least for my needs which often require larger hands. Now, I look forward to my massages and always leave feeling very relaxed and completely satisfied with the results. I won't mention his name, as it might make booking with him too difficult. But I will tell you, if offered a male therapist, they are equally as capable and professional, don't be afraid to accept.

Don't waste your time or money at The Spa of Los Gatos. I wouldn?t recommend a visit to this spa based on the quality of the services and the management staff. Since Santana Row has arrived, competition is tough and The Spa of Los Gatos doesn?t even slightly compare. I was a regular for years but after one visit filled with rudeness, unprofessional behavior?I was done. I was sold a product after a facial and the pump didn?t work. I tried to replace it two months later before my next appointment but was told it was against their policy. I asked to speak to the manager and her actual reply was ?tough?. I don?t need, nor do I appreciate the ?you are lucky to even be here? attitude. While waiting in the small co-ed relaxation room, a technician came in and told a man that his back wax would come after his massage. The poor man?s face turned bright red?we were all so embarrassed for him. Not quite the relaxing environment I was looking for during my visit. My massage was done by a kind and young woman who had only graduated from school 6 months prior and was so new she forgot steps and kept telling me how nervous she was during our session. I paid a lot for this sub par service and because of the treatment I received over replacing the broken product, I didn?t complain. I?ll be taking my money and recommendations elsewhere.

Service service service. I get my facials here and i get my done here. Service is great and i have never once complained. "The Sisters" have excellent customer service. They've helped me with everything that i've needed. Whenever I call I always ask for one of the sisters. I highly recommend the facials. The small quiet library is very relaxing before and after. I always leave refreshed!

Inability to record reservations. I called 3 weeks in advance to schedule massages. I received a reminder call 3 days before the date I scheduled only to find out they scheduled it for the wrong date. They were unable to fit me in for any other time during the weekend for the specified massages. They offered no compensatory measure such as finding me another spa with comparable times and service. Based on the level of customer service I received, I conclude this spa does not want to retain clients.

BEST SPA EVER!!!. I have been a client of The Spa Los Gatos for many years! I have tried other spas in the area and no other spa seems to even compare! No where else do you get a friendly and professional staff, wonderful and relaxing treatments, a peaceful environment, and a one stop place for massages, facials, hair, make-up, nails, etc. They also have a huge retail area where I always find great gifts. The Spa Los Gatos truly is the BEST SPA!!!

User review by sclay75. I went to The Spa because I won a 50% off coupon, and am I glad I did!

The service was exceptional. I was received by very friendly staff. When I was walked into the treatment area I was immediately relaxed. They offer a "library" with refreshments for their guests to wait, a changing areas that offers everything from bathrobes to Q-Tips and styling products.

The massage was professional and relaxing. The therapist let me rest for a few minutes, after which she walked me to a private steam shower room. Then I had to be on my way back into the real world...

The spa managed to completely relax my mind and body. I felt as if I were in a different place alltogether.

One recommendation: Ask for a treatment room away from the wall that faces the bar next door. It can get quite noisy.
